Introduction post:
We are a system that might have been a system without the events of our child hood, but we really don’t know if we were or not. We generally work well together, although we do have our chaotic times. Most of us feel that it is polite to make an intro post when we think we will be actively responding to or posting in a community.
We have a “scorecard” written up for our close friends and family. We wrote it because we have a lot of folks who locked themselves in ice or were locked in ice by others that are waking up now. Our family (both internal and external) joked that they needed a scorecard to keep up with all the changes. Most of us liked the idea so it got written up last week. It lists names, and likes and dislikes as well as listing out the things that will trigger and things that will calm.
Our main frontrunner has known about us for better than 15 years, once we found a therapist who would help us rather than try to kill us we got internal communications set up. She helped us set up the internal lines of communication, and helped us figure out how to expand it because she knew that there were others she hadn’t seen or spoken with who would cause problems if we had a static system. Some of us have always known we are many.
Currently we are sealing with lots of folks coming out of ice at once, and trying to teach al of them how to use the internal message system is an adventure. Lots of the ones waking up right now are littles, their dreams are leaking over when they sleep. The body isn’t getting much rest these days; hopefully it will get better soon. If we can slow the tidal wave of new ones waking we won’t feel so overwhelmed.
If folks are interested in our back-story and history we have some open posts in our journal. They are under the multiplicity tag.
