Hi, it's Jakie! I FINALLY broke away from Amy and made my own journal.  i hated being associated with her all the time.  so i just decided to go on my own.  i even have my own user pics, none of that starving, anorexic stuff....i want to be thin and pretty too...but i'll just use the diet pills and cocaine to do it....(i don't use cocaine now, i have no way to get it, i'm only 18 for god sakes, but if i ever...i mean, it's an option) 

So, I went on here in the first place because AMy keeps telling me we're a system...and that we have to start acting like one.  Our therapist says we need to (what did he call it?) "intergrate?"  I told her there was no way in hell i was going to do that....that she was boring and that i was not going to become anything like her.  I'm not 100% sure i know what intergration-whatever really means, but i don't want to do it.  I'm my own person, i'm wild and free....hell, I'M NOT AMY!! And that's the best part of it all!!!

For instance,

I went to this party the other night and got drunk off my ass....granted Amy woke up next to a guy she didn't know (gotta  tell you, i didn't really know him either) in a hotel room, in a state away from where we live....i had fun drinking tho....who cares that i'm underage.  she was pissed...see how much fun she DOESN'T want me to have! She says i'll get sick and shit....so what, from what my DR. tells me, i won't be the one who gets sick--so why not?  Do any of your doctors tell you that? That the body name is the person who gets in all the trouble??  Amy says i'm going to give her aids or get her pregnant some day- i doubt it!  So why can't I be the one to have all the fun?

The rest of them all seem to be calm like her....they've all got their own issues i guess....i'm the fun one and the one who gets everyone else in trouble...which is proabably why everyone says they hate me.....there's one thing they can say about me tho---if they want to be wild and spontaneous...come to JAK_AY!!!

Good to break free from her and be on my own....good to see you guys again!

Dunno if you're expecting people to be impressed or what. I don't even know if I believe you. Say for a minute you actually did all this and the playing it up is some attention thing, you're going to get your body sick. Isn't about who it belongs to, if you use it and you break it, it's always gonna be broken, whether it's you using it or not. You break this toy and you ain't gonna get a new one, so you should probably take better care of it.

One thing most people in this community take pretty seriously is responsibility. I don't think you're gonna get a real warm reception to this kinda thing. Hope you grow out of it before you get somebody hurt.

Integration = the squashing of everybody into the one real person *tm* and usually falls apart in the end. ::Sighs:: I wish more doctors would stop thinking it's the one way out. Heck, most of the time having house rules *like maybe you can get drunk but don't go screwing around* that sort of thing would work better. I know how frustrating it can be to be associated with body name. We don't have a "host" but there's somebody here who goes by the body's name even though she's not the person born here *we have all always been here together* and it's really a piss to be called by her name.

THANK YOU!!! You just put that into more elloquent words than I could've put it. I like my fun too. But I think about the fact that we all have to share. Even if it cramps my style *which it usually doesn't* I still consider it. Beside drinking and s3x are over-rated.

As weirdiguess^Michael and crystalseraph^Seraph have already said, responsibility is considered very important in this community. I think that it would be prudent for you to discuss with your group-mates what you plan on doing with your body, and how you should take care of it. If you find that any of your behaviour is causing you serious problems (which others may very well do), you should discuss it with a professional. I recall that Amy mentioned that you had a therapist, and I think that it would be wise for you to speak to him or her about it.

We're trauma-based and decided, with our therapist, not to integrate. If we did, it wouldn't be in our best interest, let alone in my best interest and I'm the host/core. We're working on functioning well as a team. But in order to do that, we have to be responsible with the body and not intentionally get it into danger because it sounds like fun. We have to keep the well-being of everyone else in this system at the forefront of each of our minds. If one of us did something to seriously injure or kill this body, we're all gone, not just the one who acted irresponsibly. This kind of behavior doesn't impress or amuse anyone. It doesn't get you any positive attention. It will only make the doctor/therapist want to put all of you in more intense therapy, push harder for integration, and possibly put you in-patient some place. If you want to have any chance at remaining a system so you can be a part of it without integration, you need to think of everyone else as well. Not just want you want. Have some drinks, sure. But do it in a safe place, a safe way, and don't only think of yourself. That's asking for trouble.

You may not see it as your body, but if you get Amy pregnant, where does that leave you? Would you also disregard the responsibility to the baby, because it's not "yours"? I have nothing against underage drinking, but having one of your head-mates wake up to some strange disease ridden man-whore isn't doing any of you any favours. Don't think you can leap in, use the body as a toy to have some fun, then dance out and avoid the consequences. Have to say, saying "I doubt it!" to the threat of Aids when you're allegedly waking up in other states sounds more like 14 than 18.

Uh, no offense, but it would probably be a good idea for the health of the body if you stepped back for a while - Amy is right, you're acting dangerously and you could easily get hurt. You can't be so reckless when you share your body with others - it isn't just yours to do what you want with, they have to use it too.

I'm a member of this system and though I have not been speaking with my headmates for long I can say that I truly believe everything she (hold_me_coldly) has said about us to be true for any multiple system be that system trauma-based, natural, whatever. What you're doing will end up killing your body and when the body dies, all of you die as well. We are recovering from addiction. Cocaine was one of our drugs of choice. We've been without for 4 years. It nearly killed our body. We used it (and other drugs) to numb the pain from the trauma we have lived through. Once a person/people is/are done numbing, know what? That pain all comes down on them. But eventually you have to be done numbing or you die. You may as well be done sooner than later. I'm not saying don't have a drink or two now and then if you can do so responsibly. But sabotaging Amy like you did, with her waking up next to a stranger in a strange place, is horrific. Your body may be pregnant. Your body may have AIDS, herpes, or some other STD. That is NOT responsible, amusing, or any other thing to laugh at. That is deplorable. I don't know my headmates well enough yet to have a firm bond with them, but I sure as hell wouldn't do that to them. And I don't always like myself either, but I wouldn't disrespect MYSELF enough to do that either. If you can't reason yourself around that, you need to take this to your therapist.

Sounds like your life will be intense but very, very short. I'm a party-animal myself but I never act well...stupid. I like to party on a bit longer... It's sorta like indulgence vs. compulsion if ya know what I mean. Indulge yourself but take responsibility as well so think before ya act and all that...you're not the only one using the body.

Girl, there's a difference between being your own person, having fun, being wild and all that good stuff and basically being a stupid, irresponsible jerk. You're being the latter. My dear, the whole idea you have, of irresponsible fun is going to do you in VERY nastily, assuming you really mean it. It is not proper, nor respectful of your Others to do this to them. I do NOT recommend doing the so-called "fun sex" thing. The idea you have, of slamming doors in your Others' metaphorical nose is going to make things very ugly between you and them in the long run. I believe the Biblical Authors at least got one thing right: "You reap what you sow."

I feel bad for your physical body, and if you give it AIDS, syphilis, gonorrhea(SP), chlamydia, or get it pregnant, you will too. People within systems are bound by that physical home they all bear. And this nonsense you're engaging in, with a glorified idea of "ME HAVE FUN! LOLZ!", if you were in the Crew, I and quite a few others would permanently ban you from fronting, and probably from where in our Otherworld we're located. I hope sincerely that if you are not having us on, that you work this out with your fellow bodymates. Otherwise, they may not be all sweetness and light to you in the long run.
