I think the idea was closer to a sort of shared humor that certain groups share, like doctors with the death humor and such. It's something that we've seen a lot, in the art groups on campus. It's not that they think it's a bad thing, it's just a thing. "All artists are insane" like "All scientists are logical" or something...

The song is brilliantly beautiful: we just got out of hospital and are pretty tired, but I found this quite cheering :D

I think her humour is just like a group of people calling each other by a loaded name within a certain context that makes it funny: personally, I have always referred to myself as a crazy artist XD

The song name is "My Medea" the album is "A Warm Stranger" We've been looking for albums ourselves. Where do you find them? But alas...We have no credit card or checking account..::Sighs:: We'd love to have a copy of that song...Wonder if they sell her CD'sanywhere brick-and-mortar.

In the process of explaining the song, she explains that it is a song about one of the "people who live in her head" all with a sort of humor to allow the audience to laugh it off if they choose. She apparently speaks to the people in her head to help her sort through difficult situations.

This particular song was about one of the ones which she had struggled in dealing with, so she wrote a song about the whole situation called "My Lydia".

It very much seems throughout the entire process that she is describing some form of plurality within herself. The lyrics to her music as a whole, has also seemed, to me, to have some themes which are particularly poignant and insightful, and informed by a similar perspective on life as several of us.
