Since you do not have sound, I am wondering if you are then(as is probably the case) unaware of the small speech she gave introducing the song?

That, I believe, is the reason it was posted on this community.

Ah, no, I wasn't aware. I'm on a computer with sound now so I'll give it a listen.

we don't have sound either (we can only use internet at the library), could you give a brief summary of the small speech?

In the process of explaining the song, she explains that it is a song about one of the "people who live in her head" all with a sort of humor to allow the audience to laugh it off if they choose. She apparently speaks to the people in her head to help her sort through difficult situations.

This particular song was about one of the ones which she had struggled in dealing with, so she wrote a song about the whole situation called "My Lydia".

It very much seems throughout the entire process that she is describing some form of plurality within herself. The lyrics to her music as a whole, has also seemed, to me, to have some themes which are particularly poignant and insightful, and informed by a similar perspective on life as several of us.

ooh, interesting.

I just love Vienna Teng. She's one of my favourite artists.

There's a song "Homecoming (Walter's Song) by her with the words

But things are good, I've got a lot of followers of my faith
I've got a whole congregation living in my head these days
And I'm preaching from the pulpit to cries of amen brother

I sort of like thinking of the others as a congregation. It's a pretty word and it's a friendly
