That was an awesome vid, though I have to agree. What the hell is wrong with people?

Didn't read any of the comments based on your comment (lol) about how stupid they were, but the video was amazing, yes. Hard to wrap my head around it... though we live sort of like they do... but the physical hardships that that makes me wonder about, being conjoined... wow!

Thats interesting and made my mind pop... youd think being a multiple I'd be like meh but yeah it was really interesting and I'm still putting my mind around it =S I cant even imagine a life like that but its similar in a way, except being a multiple is less ovious.

I went and looked up a bit more information about these two, and I find it interesting... although inextricably joined, they are totally separate at the same time. They have two separate nervous systems, and one of them controls each leg. They can only walk because they've gone through extensive physical therapy to teach them how to cooperate.

And an little article that mentions the moral, personal, and ethical problems of separating twins. Do you have a healthy life without ever being able to be alone, or do you risk death and live a cripple's life so that you can be separate? Interesting to think about, really...

They're so cute. I've been wondering if they're ok. A long time ago I saw them on tv, but hadn't seen any updates for a few years. They seem to be pretty happy and healthy. Good for them!

That... is pretty amazing.

The thing that struck me most, weirdly enough, is not that they can type or drive or play baseball, but... when they were talking, one twin went to push her hair out of her face, and she did it "with both hands" - i.e., her sister used her hand to help too, and it looked completely natural. A few moments later, the other twin said something funny/embarrassing (I forget what), and immediately covered her face with both hands and giggled. It just really struck me - seeing that, if they hadn't specifically said that each sister only controls her own side of the body, I'd have sworn they both somehow controlled both arms. So much... co-operation, I guess is the word.

(we also skipped reading the comments. *eyeroll* Thanks for the warning.)
