Hey guys!
We were just wondering what happened to the 'Positive Plural Survivor Community' idea that
standingstone was posting about earlier? It's been a month, and since this post we haven't heard any updates on the concept. Is
standingstone still planning on founding a community? Has there been any changes to the proposal for it? We really think it's important that a group like this is founded for those that need it in the multiple community.
Thanks,
David and co.

Date: 2006-09-17 02:25 am (UTC)I saw discussion regarding that some didn't want a community that was completely *anti* psychology, I wasn't sure what came from it.

Date: 2006-09-18 01:22 pm (UTC)but if you wanted a gay frendly community you would want it free of "you should become straight cos its a sin" but you wouldnt want it "anti heterosexual". you can make a community thats not anti gay without making it anti hetero. so you can make a community that says some people do it this way some people do it that way some therapists are good some therapists are bad. thats what i think. it could be neither anti integration nor pro integration. you could say this comm isnt about integration so if its good for you good if its not good for you good but you can talk about that somewhere else cos this is a ptsd place.

I probably couldn't join because 'typical' trauma induced systems aren't people I can even vaguely relate to, much as I'd like to work out my own issues.
