 Happy Holloween to all,

 

I just said googbye to my last guest and it is 5:05 am Eastearn Day lights Savings Time , I am wiped out .

We gad a blast. This year everyone went way out for thre costumes and we got lots of pictures .  I guess the Party was a sucsees even with no jello shots, for all the guests  I did make up a tray of them for just family and close friends for later who stayed the latest and the teens who loved them..  Theres alwasy a few friends that hang out the longest and help ya clean up  and those were the ones I felt comfortable handing out jello shots too  and live the closest to here driving wise .

The food went over good and people grazed at the table all night .I got super hot in my Doria The explorer costume because of the hat but stayed in character all night .

Everyone bought a few bags of non - parishables for The Demitrie House a Shelter and food pantry I volunteer at Now I gotta run today over there and drop it alll off after a nap Theres tons of good stuff . It willhelp get people through the Holidays

 The  Mosaic Gang and I took turn with the main co fronters rotating and nobody noticed but us so it was cool . Elaine kept trying to leave the teens and join us  for the jello shots so I let her have 3 Although we kept complimenting the same people on costumes and although the teens laughed at us we danced to YMCA again we stayed pretty co hesive

I think next year we'll ditch the disco ball but it is fun getting everyone dancing.  I had no parking problems because of inviting all my nighbors

Lots of people were dressed as Harry Potter Characters and aminies one gal came dressed as Marge Simpson and pulled it off great with wig and all and big butt and the perfect voice . We let Rosie try making a few new things and they went over big like a artichoke dip and a brocchlli dip frozen in a blender, Stuffed Mushrooms with crabmeat were gone in a hour ,little franks and coctail sauasages and swediish meatballs hung in  Shrimp lasted all night I had bought allot The party cost allot cause I had 87 on my invite list and all came . There were allot of really hysterical costumes It was real hard judging the best one this year there were so many good ones . 

 

I drank way too much wine and already have a wine headache . At around 4 am we dragged the sheets of Pizza Rosie made out . This is the first yaer everyone stayed so late we think cause of Daylights Saving s. We had Chilli too and make your own tortias and tacos  We have some pans soaking and the "Clean freak wants to get everything spic and span before bed we are negotiating now. I'm winning  Ha ha  We all had allot of major fun yet I am glad it is over too .It was allot of work with not feeling well I am feeling way tipsey so I'll say Good Morning and Goodnight WE hope you all had a safe fun weekend .  Its fun being a Kid one day a year and dressing silly The Prize went to a guy who dressed like a geekey Pe we Herman type character but he had it down pperfectly . We had 4 Hugh Heffners 5 Doctors/Nurses  a Cinderella a Snow White a Fairy GodMother and lots of Whitches and Star Teak People  and couple outfits demonatrix and submissive we got pictures of that  too  .

 My Favorite was  a talll black bald friend of ours who came dressed as Sheck ( so we kept playing the song for him so the women could fall over him )and another guy who dressed like a adult baby in a diaper and bonet , Well I should rinse out the beer bottles and go to bed I'll write more later , today after a nap. Hope your having a graet weekend, Peace Tiea

What is "the revolving door"
Hi Its Shelby, From the Mosaic Gang At the party Last night we kept rotating fronting between the 5 main co fronters. This I personally found exshausting. We have shared between 3 at work and Tiea had made a plan that all 5 would get to see friends from various places that wee invited . But each timeI was bumped aside I felt sort of locked out and weak . Has anyone ever had a hard time getting back to the front once they volunterrily leave? When a plan has been made .One would think were" all in agreement so it would go smooth I found it scary we call this "getting stuck" or being"locked out The T alway s explains this is "the revolving door " snydrome ,when we keep changing . I did not like it cause each time I gave up the drivers seat I felt strangley lost and scared,that I wouldent not make it back . So I felt allot of co conscious panicking . Everyone today spoke of having the same hard time getting back . We were drinking wine and had had a few jello shots but werent at all smashed just a nice sociable relaxing buzz.. Does this happen often toothers or does this mean we are not as co conscious as we always thought ? There is know lost time among us It just doesnet feel cohesive cause of blocked or locked out moments. Thanks Shelby
