We may get flamed for this, but we find it funny.

Before regaining internet access, the significant other's system and ours had been seeking a local support group for multiples to get advice from. We never found one, but we started wondering what you would do for name tags if such a group did exist. The SO made a physical mock up, and we've drawn it out. See icon.

We're thinking start with card stock, laminate the "Hello my name is" part, and then attach the wheel for names with a brad, possibly have interchangeabke wheels for people with really large systems....

Oh yeah, have to leave a space for "co-present" or "blended."

i want one for my SO... only thing is that they'd probably need a spare for when they switch so much that they wear a hole in the wheel & it falls apart :)

We've had days like that! One person will be talking to the SO about something, and leave the room for long enough to go to the bathroom, and we switch, and someone else comes out of the bathroom and says something very nearly opposite from what the previous person was saying! I'm sure it's very confusing, and we do it FAR more than his people do, but what can you do? Sometimes it's just one of those days!

I am getting a very funny mental image of this. If I remember right, you have strong female cat tendencies. I am picturing your SO walking around with the tape trailing behind, and you in kitten-mode batting away at it. (Okay, this may not be accurate, but it's still funny to think about!)

We actually do have name tags, but they aren't as amusing as that one in your icon :p

We've used a laminated name badge at a conference and used Post It tape to write over the name when we changed fronts. Worked quite well.
