Hi! After my last entry here getting some feedback, I added some more books to the book recommendations. I thought you guys might be interested in the list that I came up with. Does anyone have any suggestions for books that I haven't listed? I like to read as much as I can about it even if it's a negative point of view because it helps me understand myself and the way I'm received by others (or could be) better. Anyway, here's the list of recommendations:

I recommend "Set This House In Order" by Matt Ruff. Fiction, but at least pro-multiplicity.

Hi. Thanks for putting this list together. I have several on a list on Amazon for birthdays, holidays, and in between days for friends and family to view. My hope is that they'll want to read, and help me in my recovery. Sometimes it's hard to even tell a therapist what's really going on because of professional disbelief, let alone family and friends not believing in you. I think this list is a great ice breaker, and will hopefully be just the thing I need. Cheers to you, and thanks again. :-)

Ungh... I'm sad to see Milligan and Silencing the Voices on there. But, to each her own.

I posted about this recently, but this book has a slightly positive slant to it: http://www.amazon.com/I-Am-More-Than-One/dp/0071462570/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/105-4615250-4302026?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1186937091&sr=8-1

There might be another one that I'd actually recommend... I have dozens of these types of books laying around, I've read so many it's hard to remember which is which sometimes. If I find the one I'm thinking of I'll post it too.

How could you be against it? It's about "One woman's Triumph"!

I know that doesn't make me think of exploitative garbage. Not at all.
