People are gonna get sick of me and my questions soon -chuckles- but someone said questions were good so here goes!

Ok so, generally when the other(s) are not Fronting what do they do? I mean .... I've seen comments like 'headmates' and things like that so ... do they just hang out in your head, always within the body just not incontrol of it unless they are Fronting ... or can they go else where?

Some people have said they have Walkins and what-have-you from different places and sometimes they go back there and carry on their lives .... but when they're still Here in this world as it were can you be like Fronting and typing on the computer and someone else is sitting over there on the bed only noone else can see that because they don't currently have a physical body? Does that make any sense?

I guess basically what I want to know is are they confined to the body they Walked into or can they exist as a seperate entity in their own right outside of it?

An' you know this answer; however I will reply for the rest of the community.

I do not have anywhere else to go, however have freedom to move away from the Body in my own right. This is one of the reasons I believe myself not to be a 'walkin' per say. Although I am attempting to work at this problem, I cannot interact with the physical world very well.

Unfortunately, I must stay within a certain distance to the Body.

We don't have an inner world, so when one isn't fronting they either watch or sleep. We do occasionally do the 'overlap with the real world' thing, but its purely mental.

Btw, I thought "walk in" was two words, not one.

We have an inner/other world, so when people aren't front, they go there and carry on with their lives. We can "see" others outside the body, but it's purely a mental projection thing, and they aren't actually there.

When not front, my head-mates enjoy their lives inside, in our soulspace. With the exception of Sara, none of our walk-ins can leave either.

It's different for each of us, I think. Liliane is literally confined to the body, she can't interact with me outside of talking/thinking, and when she's not fronting she's generally watching from "inside". Mischa exists outside of this body, she can walk and talk and interact with me freely, and when she's not fronting she's generally hanging out next to me and watching, or sleeping.

When I'm not fronting I get a sense of watching behind the other person's eyes, but without being able to control the actions.

We don't have a mindscape/soulscape/inner world, we're just "fronting" or "not fronting".

We have an inner world and usually people not fronting will hang around in there, doing their own thing. Sometimes a couple of us will hang around front and occupy the body together, especially if there's something going on that more than one of us are interested in (I think there were five of us fronting when we went to watch POTC). It does get rather disorientating and kind of distracting though, and we don't do that often.

Nobody here does that. However some of us are able to go off into other worlds. I regularly return to the place I came from, and when I do I have my own physical body there.

There are several in our group who can exist outside of the body. Some are always outside of the body and some can use the body and also be outside of it. Not everyone in our group can do that though.

When somebody isn't fronting, I generally let them do whatever they want, whether it's sleeping or wandering off or talking with the others, ect. There was a short period of time when I tried to keep everybody 'inside,' so to speak, back when I didn't want them outside of the mindscape (there was no official 'outside' to the mindscape back then, to boot! Just a giant mansion where the front door was perpetually locked.) Never again; everybody wanted to front just so they'd have something to do.

Nowadays it's common for them to go outside the body, and walk along beside me or whatever. When they're really listening in to what I'm doing, it's almost similar to fronting in a way, except I'm still in control of the main body and they're just there to help me out when necessary. Now half of them only come back to the mindscape at night to sleep. Heck, I don't even quite know where that half or so go during the day!

We're a trauma-split group (D.I.D./M.P.D.) so I guess it works differently for us? None of us can leave this body. But we did create a place inside, just to feel safer. So when someone isn't fronting (and a lot can co-front) they're in that place either sleeping or hanging out. They can interact with one another inside, though.

We've got "headspace"--a world inside, where people live and all. For some, they can return to their world of origin (this is mostly a walk-in system). And people can "hover" or "copilot" and watch what's going on without being in control, and there's varying levels of cofronting too.

But yeah, everyone can exist as a separate entity.

We have a really big, rich Inner World. People who aren't Fronting (or standing at my elbow making wisecracks as I Front and try to work!) have places to be there and things to do. There are people here who'll never Front at all - they don't have a need to.

We have a big house inside and a huge yard and beyond that were 2 other parts of our world but they have since been torn down as far as I know. They were not such nice places. None of us have the ability to exist in a like say a room in our apartment out here outside of the body. In fact I believe that if someone here could do that it would be more like well something other than being multiple. Some people here choose to sleep lots of the time because they just are not an active part of things. They would rather sleep until they want to come out. But most of us just play and do chores and whatever else people do in the outside world, only we just do it inside.

Most of us have innerscape, so can be in there, r 'around there' half blendy with a normal outside reality/frontspace, something of that forms. We're not sure *where in* that is.

When not there, we can be in our worlds of origins or somewhere we'd chosen lives in. Quite a lot folk do that here, I guess. I've never asked on that around much, pretty comfortable with the innerscape here and that's it.

Well, my headmates and I have a house on a lake. A really big lake.
We call it Seido. They have lives and such that they go about, even when they're Fronting. I'm the only oddball, as I 'disappear' from Seido when I'm Out. Everyone else stays in Seido and has their own thing going on while they Front. I'm not sure why or how, but we're still a relatively young system, so I suppose its just one of our quirks.

As to your other question, I have several headmates that can come and go as they please. Jaenelle and Morpheus can pass through Seido into Nod, the realm of Dreams (Morpheus being a previous Atlantean King and currently the King of Nod, not in any way affiliated with the Greek God with the same name and Jaenelle being a creature known as the DreamReaver.) Beyond that, I think Ceri and Niko can, but neither of them have actually tried. I'm positive Shardae and Maari can't, and the Twins are questionable, as is Rayne.
