We were wondering: any artists here? :D

Asking because I like to see other peoples art, and also was interested to see the differences in peoples art styles through systems and stuff. If, er, that makes sense.

We haven't drawn individually for a really long time, but I think we're gonna start again, and try to finish 'em for once.

So, yeah. :D Anyone? Anyone at all?

edit

OH. And also, we're on deviantART, if anyone has one. We're http://fox-bells.deviantart.com~

Also, as usual, if [livejournal.com profile] flow_theory responds to your comments, it's us. @_@;; We just use this one to write posts, because uhm. I'm paranoid. xD

I am an artist! Perhaps I could show you some time. Just as soon as I get a camera.

Not the traditional arts, but we do various crafts...beading, embroidery, chainmail, wire wrapping, and we're starting to learn bookbinding.

Dunno if any of it will end up getting linked here, though, since we like to get credit for it under our "real life" identity, and we're mostly closeted. But I like the idea of comparing styles, so whatever we finish from now on is gonna have to go up in our system journal where everything is friendslocked. *g*

I draw sometimes, though Vi does not. Unfortunately I only draw to show off ideas to my boyfriend, and I don't like my art nor am I going to do anything with it, so I'm somewhat uncomfortable with showing it to anyone.

Though this icon is art of Vi and I.

I draw sometimes to pass the time. I seem to have picked up the ability from Dizzy, and still find it odd that I do so.
Dizzy fancies herself an artist, though she hasn't made much lately. I suppose my front-hogging gets in the way. Micha and Troy have also drawn things in the past, but nothing lately.

We do art of a different sort, though there are a few who do draw occasionally. Mostly we do photography and a bit of digital art & graphics making, though. Not so much skill but definitely enjoyable.

I draw prolifically, both about my group and about characters and things. My journal has a lot of art, and more is at http://crystalseraph.deviantart.com

Drawing was common for us until 2nd University (withdrew from 1st one--second was mostly upper division).

Right now we're in a couple of lower-division art classes, both traditional/fine arts, which are not entirely easy because the person who's into art isn't always fronting. So sometimes someone else will get stuck with the homework, or be expected to do it and not want to. We haven't yet gained a large amount of conscious control over who's out, when.

It's not a bad thing to be in these classes, our skill has increased. But it leads to questions of dependability...say if someone's going to give the system a job recommendation and they only see one of us, or the work we turn in is a result of group effort (in one system)...

I have access to a digital camera ans scanner but I generally don't put my art on the internet. I mostly draw and make jewelry. I've started using ink and paint in addition to charcoal, colored pencils, graphite and pastel. It's fun and inspiring to buy, but a different thing to use.

I have a gallery at http://windinthetrees.deviantart.com. There are several involved in the current artwork. It is a bit of a team effort, some giving suggestions, some doing the actual drawing and if the radio is not playing there is someone who comes out and helps mainly in the coloring phase of the drawings. There have been considerations to let someone new create (in an entirely different style), as well as letting the little ones draw. There was art training when the body was a teenager and so far she feels a need to control stuff so the little ones have not been drawing.

We are still learning and working on things.

That is really nice. The colors are lovely. On Laura, those designs are called kesha and they are decorative, but also like mandala on earth.

I have a gallery at http://lilgreymoth.deviantart.com/
Me and Kamiel draw most of the things on there together. the others draw stuff too, but it either gets put into scraps or never gets uploaded for a couple of different reasons.
theres drawings of several of us hiding around there :p

it depends. most stuff is either colored digitally with Photoshop or colored with copic sketch markers. it usually says what I used on each one at the bottom of the artist's comment section.
and thank you. I like my colors nice and vivid :D

...mm, I'm gonna have to say, posting with another journal due to paranoia is all well and good. But posting your main name in a public entry? I suggest friendslocking these in the future for your health ^^

Oh, and the real reason for this comment was the following-
Though I left it out before, we have a DA account (//dobunezumi.deviantart.com/) too. It hasn't been updated in years, however. If you're interested in seeing our newer art, feel free to msg me.

Thanks ^^
I took those a few years ago during a big snow storm. I thought it looked so pretty outside in the snow that I had to try and picture it. I took a lot and only a few came out and good, but I'm told that's normal for photography.
We don't do much photography anymore. The body sorta shakes a lot so that can make it hard. Its not big shakes, but its enough to throw off a picture.

yep, one of us is an artist and a photographer. he's got stuff online in various places, but isn't out as plural at said places, so. it does get complicated when we have to work on something and he isn't fronting (it's not that we have weird toaster powers or anything, but I really can't take pictures to save my life for some reason, so I guess there is a difference), but luckily we've got better control over switching in the past year or so.

A lot of our art is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/seaclans/

We are pretty much out as far as the multiplicity goes. Mostly because at this point there is no reason not to be. I think way back when we even told most of our family, who we have no contact with now. They pretty much wrote it off as us being crazy. :P

There's a link that's actually click-able in my journal, I can't figure out how to add a link in comments. I'm html clueless. Eventually we will probably scan and upload a lot more art, but what's there is some of our best so far, except for some that's way too big to scan. Right now we haven't been making any more art, hopefully that will change. We go in spurts. My favorite medium is probably clay, but we don't get to do it much because of lack of access to kilns and such.

We've also done some textile work. A lot of our art and journals have been lost over the years due to crazy religion stuff, that's a huge regret of ours. the fundamentals we got involved saw pretty much everything as a sign of demonic activity so anything linked to our multiplicity was destroyed.

Anyway way too long babble.

Ah. I, Iris, have a dA account. http://mourning-soul.deviantart.com/ . I appriciate friends and stuff, but I hardly update it and my art "style" changes constantly. @_@

I might get a few of the others [as in my bonds] dA accounts, but it would mostly be writing or poems. I'm the only one with actual drawing "talent", if you want to call it that. 'Cause I don't think I'm talented. xD; Although Mar doodles around sometimes..but anyway.

uh...yeah. That kind of got off-track. We're there if you want to stop by and say hi. =D; ~Fails~

I'd like more friends...especially multiple artists...

http://princesschester.deviantart.com

I didn't draw for a long time either. We had to re-learn any action more complex than keeping the outside world from being suspicious. I think it really came back once we stopped depending on it, and as a result of constantly trying so hard to draw, even if it looked really ugly and made us cry.

Art? Yes! Gallery. (http://us.vclart.net/vcl/Artists/Jssra/)

It's mainly Kat and I who make art - I throw around big splashes of colour, and she does all sorts of fiddly little details.
