If any of you thought Ray and I had dropped off the face of the Earth, we haven't! Suffice to say life has been a bit of a strain lately. David, my husband of nearly eleven years now, was sat on by a cow! (Don't ask! Suffice to say he is a vet.) Ray laughed his socks off. David had a couple of cracked ribs and bruises and a lot of hurt pride and was off work for a while.

He just went back to work and our pipes froze then burst and I came home to find our cottage awash! We were moved out for a few weeks while the place was dried out and David argued with the insurance company. Our computers, David's big system and my laptop (A Christmas present, sob!) died in the flood and we've just got new ones (I have a shiny laptop again!)and we've been home a couple of weeks.

For reasons best known to himself, Ray found the whole thing hilarious, though the stay with my parents (Who we love dearly) was not to his liking!

Anyway, the point of this post (Apart from making you laugh, according to Ray) is to ask if anyone knows any good RP games on the net? Ray and I love role playing games, but have never played with people on the Net and David has come round, (given in) and said he'll give it a go. We've looked at a few, including SIMS on line, but are looking for something with a more 'adult' content. Does anyone play, or know of a game? Something where Ray can have his own character as well as David and I? We don't mind if it is subscription.

If this post isn't allowed, I'm sorry. Let me know and I'll take it down.

Love Tim & Ray

There is a PC game called Singles: Flirt up your life (http://www.singles-the-game.com/english/boys/index_boys.shtml). It's similar to SIMS (but not as good), but it's a little more adult than SIMS is. Here's a review on the game (http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/singles-flirt-up-your-life/521599p1.html).

As for online games, we play Warcraft, and have just started playing the new Lord of the Rings online game. It's in open beta now. Great game!! :) We used to play City of Heroes and Star Wars Galaxies, but we got bored with Heroes and Galaxies isn't good anymore once they introduced a "virus" into their own game (hence a patch that ruined the game play). LOL :)

Warcraft is a good one because there are many slots and servers to create characters so whoever would like to have their own character they probably can. :> The Burning Crusade expansion pak came out not too long ago and it introduced two new playable races. The Blood Elves and the Draenai. Jewelcrafting too! I started a new Blood Elf hunter and I have a big pet spider that fights. I named my spider Shimmer. =D There are other games out there if David doesn't like that one. What kind of games does he like?

There are other online games too. This site has information on other mmorpgs.

I tried Eve Online and it's good if you like lots of realistic technical space flight. :> I tried Rose Online and it's cutesy. Puzzle Pirates is free and fun with games and puzzles. Final Fantasy Online I tried and liked it. I have Guild Wars too but everyone got sidetracked with LoTR online. ^^'

This is fine to post-- a lot of people have questions about multiplicity and roleplaying. Don't worry. However, I'm curious about how your husband got sat on by a cow, even though you told me not to ask... *g*

You know, that sounds like a James Herriott sort of thing. Sounds like a book in the making.

Glad he's okay and that you are back!

You might get more (better?) answers if you asked on a community for this sort of thing too.

The girls've played most of the popular MMOs out there. Pretty much all of them have a lot of slots. EVE was the smallest, it has three.

We play World of Warcraft, as well. You can play on an RP server or a 'normal' server. We play on Black Dragonflight (US/PvP) and The Venture Co. (US/ RPPvP) as Horde. Let us know if you pop onto those servers!

There are downloadable add on's for Sims II that allow for uncensored nudity and a bit more sexual variety, but I don't know if they work online. I'll ask my roommate since he knows more about where the downloads are online.

Also, if you have a X-Box 360 and like roleplaying type games, I recommend Oblivion. I'm not currently playing since the disk got damaged, but, well, let's just say I don't play X-Box type games, and I got thoroughly hooked on that one! (Well, actually, Gabby, Shel, Strawberry, probably Wish, and maybe even Janna got hooked on it, but you know what I mean. :P I don't play the video games, but I like to watch when the others play!)

We tried the X-Box 360 game "Phantasy Star Universe" and didn't like the normal game-play, it was to juvenile.
However the online game is the bomb!! Got hooked. All other games aside. Stuck in the vortex.
