[identity profile] rhymer-713.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] multiplicity_archives
Hi. We're making our profile for Yahoo! Messenger and we have a question. Does any one have any idea how we can put the fact that we're multiple into a "favorite quote" box without scaring any one off but still making it known that we're not broken and that healthy multiplicity does happen...The one we thought of and later discarded was this... "Who knows how many sets of eyes watch you from behind the face of the man on the street corner." We discarded that one for crypticness and because it sounded like the openin g line of a really lame horror novel. So if any one has suggestions, I we'd be truly grateful. And if some one's asked this before, our appologies. We looked through the memories but didn't see it there.

A lot of people used to use Whitman's "I am large, I contain multitudes."

I like that one, too. The poem title is "Song of Myself," if you wanted to mention that.

I also like a line I thought of, "Multiples: There are more of us than you think," but no one else seems to...
