What does it "sound" like when two of your headmates are talking to each other?

Like people talking, either loudly, if they're with the front group, or more muffled. Sometimes people scream or bang on the walls... sound carries like in a quiet office building...

Most of the time we front singly or together as pairs so there
is not that much talk inside but sometimes there will be arguing.

When we meet and discuss things internally it is like everyone is
talking.

When several in our group are at or near the front we hear each other with our thought-ears. As close to an example to it would be the pair of fronters are sitting in the living room together on the sofa sharing a laptop. Several others are also in the living room chatting away with each other, and depending on how loudly they are talking, would determine whether the pair on the sofa are affected by it or not.

For us there is also another group who may be near the front but not enough to completely see or hear what is going on the living, but definitely not what's going on with the the pair on the sofa. Hearing them would be similar to hearing muffled speech on the other side of a wall in a room. You know someone's talking but you're not quite able to make out the words. Those examples are only for those who are somewhere near the front.

As for hearing each other within our Realm, it works the same as it does here. We hear and communicate with each other with through our individual bodies. The same as how individual separate bodies communicate in this realm. :)

It depends on how close they are to me. The closer they are, the more audible they are and the more of their emotions and thoughts I can pick up. If they're not concentrating on me or I'm not concentrating on them, it's like their sitting at a nearby table at a restaurant. I can hear them if I concentrate on it, but mostly it's background noise. Unless communication is broken, and then I don't hear much of anything, but that's a different story.

If they're not near me or not near front at all, I don't hear anything.

this is true for us too. the closer and more awake everyone else is, the better we can hear them. anne doesn't hear as well, but then again she kinda doesn't want to hear the others, and when they were floating around a little more they had to yell just to get through. i used to relay between her and them but i haven't heard from them in a little over a year.

i kind of miss them.

For me, when I'm fronting and other people in the back are talking, it kind of sounds like hearing a conversation through a wall, if I'm not making a conscious effort to listen. Some of us can hide conversations from the consciousnesses of others in here if we want/need to.

There is just me and Little Kal but I can talk to the others to. My spirit guide is named Justin and he talks to me. I just moved from where I lived and I don't like it! I don't like moving and I don't want to move any more! I want my own home and no more moving. Little Kal is sad to like I am.

Because it was time to move again and we have to move one more time in a few months but it won't be as far as over the ocean like the other move from Germany. I'm not a gypsy even if I move around lots. I didn't have a choice but I don't think about it any more. xoxoxo Kalli

It depends how close they are. For me, it's like a normal talking volume, but I can muffle it if I'm focusing on what's going on "outside". It ranges from nothing, to whispers, to normal volume, to yellin'. :) Just like the outside. But I can tell what comes from inside and what's outside, it's difficult to explain...

I heard my first conversation between two a couple of days ago. They were reminising about our childhood together, so it was doubly wierd, as I was listening in and going "Hey...I remember that O_o."

It just sounds like a conversation to us, although the sound is defintely in our minds' ear.

And when people are deeply in the back, I can't hear the conversation. But when it's near the front, I can hear the conversation if they are near me.

And yes, I meant minds' eye in the plural...I just looked at it and hoped someone wouldn't interpret that as an error...yes, yes, most of us Fen Group members are a little obsessed with grammar...

Depending on who's talking and how 'close' they are, it can either sound like my own thoughts sound, only in someone else's voice, or it can sound like someone's standing right next to me talking into my head so to speak. (Worst run-on sentence ever.) Most of the time I cannot hear the others though, we communicate in images much more often.

Transmissions of concepts and images. It is very rare that we hear an actual voice. I can think of 3 times in the last 20 years. It wasn't anything crucial. It just sounded like you'd hear a person's voice on the phone.

It's like thinking. When you think in words, except different voices.

When two people inside are talking, it's just like a conversation. If someone's talking to the person outside, it's like you're talking over a headset with a microphone, there's sometimes static.
