Just a quick little question.

I'm curious. It seems, from what I've read going through some old posts, that a large percentage of the systems/groups/whatever in this community are in a physical body that's pretty young.
How old are you? And how old are you internally too? We're pretty much all my age, which is 28, except that our Guardian seems to have gotten stuck around 13, which is when it was formed, so that makes a kind of sense, though at the same time it's ancient and ageless, being an archetype of wisdom. (Think something like a "child oracle" I suppose, but looking more or less like the dragon in my icon there.)

Date: 2007-01-11 11:24 pm (UTC)I can say "She said this, and she did that" or "He said this and he did that," but if I'm talking about Guardian, I have to say "It said this and it did that," and I don't like to refer to Guardian as an "it" because the word "it" is objectifying. Tables are "it," books are "it." A personality should not be an "it."

Date: 2007-01-12 04:17 pm (UTC)Those are the main people fronting right now...As for the rest of us, we range from toddlers-20somethings, mainly. Some of Us are reincarnated, we do believe; but we've never gotten an answer out of them as to how old they are.
Well, that's all from us...LOL. -- Fragments

Date: 2007-01-16 12:24 am (UTC)Morgil is nearly 800 years old but that's apparently pretty young for an angel. He's grown up a lot since he showed up.
Kat is around 17. Oddly, she's been with us since birth as far as we can tell but seems to age at a directly proportional rate to our body. If I think I'll remember what the rate is...... 1/2. She aged normally until the body was around ten and then began aging at half-rate. Strange I think but it works.
We also have a construct who is I guess 5 years since she was created now but she doesn't age and was made to appear around 19 or so.
The only remaining Other worth mentioning is Flute who is inconceivably ancient from what we can tell, but has the mentality of a mostly re-acclimated to civilization, feral-child younger than 10.
I suppose that's about it currently. There used to be more Others but some have faded, one integrated, and a few more just left.
Interesting question, thanks!
