I would be. I'm unaware of an existing community for this, though I've never searched for one, either.

I think it would have to be friends only, and the membership would have to be monitored. There would need to be some very strict rules, and probably a one strike and you're out set up.

Actually, my son Tynan is volunteering to help moderate or coordinate or something if there's enough interest.

I was thinking of suggesting this sort of community to Auroch earlier, but i wasn't sure if he'd fit into the ones that have been mentioned above.

Myself, I wouldn't be interested, not because it isn't applicable, but because I have people I can talk to about this closer to home. I'd be willing to be there in a support capacity, but I'm not sure that those in my system who really need such things would ever be comfortable opening up about them to strangers.

A community for soulbonds, people in multiple systems, or muses who are engaged in one of the armed trades: soldiers, mercenaries, assassins, thieves, police officers, vigilantes, etc. The focus is on those who are currently engaged in above in other, inner or subjective worlds but former workers in armed trades are also welcome. This is not a community for people who work in the armed trades in the 'real' world.

There are also different morals, laws, and situations depending on where an individual is from when these instances occured. What might be considered immoral here in the earth realm, might not be as such elsewhere. It depends on who it is and where it is. There are assassins, those following personal codes, and more. Obviously while here in the earth realm, earth laws must be followed. Are you meaning for those who must deal with laws, conscience and morals for humans here? Perhaps those are discussions to be talked about within such a community.

But I've came to the conclusion that it would be a good idea to have a community were people that have no problems with being Predators for lack of a better term. Be it from natural inclination, life style (be it here, other realms, or past life's), or simply from things that have happened to them, can congregate. Because many times when we/they come into this realm, or the "real world" as some would call it, it's a bit of a problem. Because you can't act the same, so it's hard to transition over. Some times, it's hard to even act what people in today's society consider civilized because you simply don't think that way. Be it that your method of thinking would label you as a Psychopath, a Sociopath, a Sadist, or what ever else...

So yes, in essence a community that people who have violent/sadistic/etc.etc tendencies can talk about said tendencys, and to figure out ways to deal with them so you can mesh with today's laws, morals, and other such. And hopefully calm down in this realm so they can help the rest of their system.

I can understand having a desire to speak with others who are like-minded. Would it not be simpler not to try transitioning over and stay where it would be acceptable? Otherwise it would put the entire group at risk if this one individual were not able to transition.

I mean no insult or disrespect, I can understand the risk and why you ask. We have gotten in trouble once or twice before, because of the actions of one. But after things got sorted out, things ended up being better. Because this One learned that the consequences were not worth the indulgence. Some times it's not safe, aye, but if you can make it work than I think it's best for all. Assuming every one wants to be in this World.

No insult is taken. I'm a strong supporter in giving chance and quarter to those who genuinely wish to change an aspect of themselves they see as unsavory. Not everyone would look on that same aspect and see an unsavory, but if they wish to change it and decide it will make them a better person as a result, I would not stand in their way.

It might not be fair, but sometimes certain preventions can be taken if there are uncertainties. Risks and second chances are also important too. It would depend on the situations and those involved. For us, we discuss nearly everything that happens around us. We also have more children than organic-adults and their welfare is always most important for us.

The community (how I'd see it) would be for both really, in a way. If they acknowledge that it's fuckered and want to get better, than a safe place to talk about it with people that can relate would be a good thing. And if they simply want to be able to dwell more or less peacefully in this world and wish advice or what not from those that have all ready managed it, well a place to go to ask for advice is never a bad thing. If you (or any one) has other ideas for how it should be, or what it should be about. I am more than willing to listen.

And personally, my thought on natural predators is this. If they wish to join, they are more than welcome to. It would be rather hypocritical of me to deny them, considering what many in here are. But besides from that, I see no reason not to, if they wish to speak as well.

I guess I ask the predator point because you mentioned them seemingly in the context of... well, violent people and sadists. And I wanted to know if that's how you classified natural predators. It was somewhat befuddling at first read.

I'm wondering how the comm would be because, well, for someone like me, I don't think I'd be particularly comfortable with reading (on a regular basis or otherwise) about people being perfectly happy with behaviour I find in many ways bothersome. I wasn't sure what this community was going to be aiming more for, after your comment.

I did not mean to imply that Natural Predators were the same as sadists and violent people. And I apologize for seemingly making some think I did. I simply had no better way to word my self at the time. What it comes down to is what I am trying to suggest for this community is primarily a place for people that

A: were sadists/violent/etc.etc that no longer feel good about what they have done to get together and try to work through their feelings and how they have changed.

B: May not have reached a point were they truly feel bad about it, but are starting to question them self's, and as such need others to talk to about it. So they can get to a point that many would consider more humane for lack of a better term...

But also when needed, a place for people to come to that may be Natural Predators or what ever else. That need advice on how to manage their Lusts, be it for blood, violence, domination, or what ever else. So that they don't get their group/body into trouble. They may not truly feel guilty or even bad about it, but they realize they can not indulge in this realm. But have problems controlling them self's, and as such want to speak to others about how to come out and be peaceful in this realm.

P.S I apologize for any continuing confusing and any that came before. To be honest we are not used to addressing community's or groups of people in general. So it can be difficult for us to make our self's easily understood at times.

I would have to say I would join such a community. I think it's always good for all others to have someone to talk about about all the sides of themselves, regardless of what they are.

(Disclaimer: I'm speaking *just* for myself here, and only me, not for anyone else in this system. Even if only because the reason others will claim I don't represent them is, oh noes! We can't talk too openly about having other worlds, then we'll lose our credibility! Well, fine, I'd rather lose it for what we are than have it given to us for what we're not.)

I guess I'm still having trouble understanding specifically what the community is supposed to be *for*-- is it for nonhumans specifically, for "dark ones" like the Dark Personalities list was originally supposed to be? Someone else said "violent/sadistic tendencies," but then that seemed to be conflated with those who were "predators" in some way, and to my mind, the two terms aren't equivalent. It *is* possible to be a predator, and yes, even a predator on humans, without being grr, maim, violent sadist. In fact the people I've known who did that disdained those who were sloppy in their techniques and just did it as a show of power. (And some of them were, it has to be said, a lot more humane than what many people consider to be humane methods of execution.)

...then again, I may be coming at this from a slightly different perspective because a lot of people here *do* spend a majority of time mucking about in their own worlds. So needing to do certain things at front doesn't generally come up, especially since I don't know how this body could do all of them anyway. Is the idea more that this is for people who don't have other outlets to express certain impulses?
