okay, I know this has probably been spoken about before...

but we're hanging out with someone, and got rather stoned(pot). We're finding it so much easier to deal with the collective us right now, in general...

for example, right now the lines of inside communication are so clear, when sometimes it can be hard to feel the others...

it's also much easier to co-front...or even have up to 4 people fronting at once...when sober, it can be very trying to even switch

does anyone else find this?(for people who partake)

if for any reason this post is inappropriate, or offends, we can delete it, we're just curious...

We don't, nor will we ever, smoke anything. We drink a little, but never had the opportunity to have much of any switch/blendiness as my other pretty much fades into the background when I'm doing that sort of thing, thus far anyway.

What I'm trying to say is, it's almost the opposite for us: it's harder to switch... more like I don't even think of it. Kinda forget she's there (as I do on occasion).

Blah I'm rambling, I dunno if that made any sense. :P

I guess I'd have to try it again and see if I can get her to come out. I'd imagine it would be interesting. XD

We haven't smoked anything in years. Apparently the last time we did it, it must have interacted with the medicine we take because there were bad affects. No one here's smoked sense, but no one has the desire to do so.
Apparently when we drink we tend to get more, mm... 'internal' than other times. More likely to phase out and not notice the outside world. Not certain if its related.

We smoke, sometimes. It does make co-fronting much easier for us. We've figured out that the way we co-front currently isn't so much of co-fronting, usually more of rapid switching and using the current frontier as a conduit of sorts. When we're stoned we don't get headaches from co-fronting or rapid switching, which is actually quite nice.
However, we do not smoke very often; it's more of our mental escape for the week, month, or whatever. It helps us relax when we're stressed, and that's primarily what we use it for.

If I'm all alone (not talking to anyone else in my head) I usually get pretty paranoid and out-of-sorts by smoking pot. If there's any amount of communication, or fronting has been happening regularly, then things get odd and messy in a hurry. It's much easier for others (especially January, who generally loves drugs) to front, especially without my knowing (which is an otherwise rare experience,) and thus it's much easier for us to get into trouble (like, waking up tangled in people I don't know...)

If we're in a controlled environment, we're alone together, and we're in a good mindset overall, it's usually great. Creativity runs rampant, and communication is much improved. Experiencing everyone else is much easier for me when we're stoned, as well, and I get a much clearer sense of them than usual.

you can write that coherently while stoned? man, that's impressive. when we're high, it's like words.... words.... what box do we keep the words in again?

We can all function, high or not. Not everyone feels the effects - Lola's interested in her own forms of intoxication, Miss Gypsy Rose abstains from all drugs, Promethea is disinterested and Joely and Ragdoll are always around for psychedelics. The ganja is mostly for the body, what with the noticeable lack of panic attacks and paranoia. I am pretty much coherent sober as stoned. It's no excuse to get lazy...but then, it affects everyone differently.

What We really, really don't like is alcohol. It makes everyone pass out, and spells terrible, terrible things for us. There's only two or three people We can get drunk around and enjoy Ourselves.

We used to go to therapy stoned, pissing off our T until he realized we were actually able to function, talk about nasty stuff, and basically do therapy much better than when we are straight. We do co-front a lot more but that makes the communication much easier. As far as creativity, every essay I did for both my College Writing classes were done while stoned. I got a 4.0 in the class! Basically for me, it acts as an anti anxiety, a mood stabilizer and a pain reliever (fibro) so it is rather all purpose and essentially necessary in my life.
Alcohol is interesting as well. When we were more seperate, one could get drunk and pass off to someone else and they would be totally sober and ready to drink their own drink! As of late, we don't drink much because we have NO tolerance anymore, probably due to lack of seperation, and also because we have been reacting badly to our favorite drink ie... passing out or blacking out after a relatively small amount.
