There have been a number of studies world wide on the hearing of voices, how it can be positive, negative or neutral, and dispelling the myth that hearing voices is a sign of mental health disorder. We took part in a New Zealand one last year.

I'm just amused that there's a World Hearing Voices Day. I don't know whether that's a good sign or if it just an indication that there's a day, week, or month for everything these days.

I would believe this. The voices I hear are neutral... they've never been negative. However, they have been protective as well - kinda making me believe that they're probably not just 'voices' but hearing the voices of people from the 'inside' while I'm fronting. My others think this is very possible as well.... that I'm catching bits of their conversations, expecialy since they're usualy not even directed towards me.
