I found one the other day that said "The voices in my head come up with some pretty good ideas sometimes". XD I bought it for giggles.

We have a friend who has a shirt "The voices don't like you."

I love those shirts! I hear voices sometimes, I think they're backdraft noise from the 'inside world' though.... because they're usualy more than one and they're really never talking to me... haha. I never took the time to ask around the inside though, but one of my others agreed that that's probably what it was, because of the kinds of things I hear.

They get kinda confusing, though, when you're on the outside (maybe that's why there's the confusion between Schitzophrenia and MPD.) Hmmm... *(runs off to think about this)*

I hear them when I'm drifting off to sleep or really tired. It sounds like a radio playing at very low volume. I always figured it was some kind of "brain static," although I've actually read in various places that it's a good idea to try talking back to voices if they bother you.

I have one who thinks she's a comedian, and she's a muse so sometimes she whsipers, and one day she got the thought in her head to narrate my life. Do you have any idea how hard it is to focus when in the background someone is saying "And she sat there, reading her journal..." *sigh*

She gave up shortly after dark.

Instead of supporting Wal-Mart, and as a fun activity for people, you could try making your own. That way you could personalize it as well (colors, font, etc).

...actually, I wonder if someone could make a Cafepress design or something, so people wouldn't have to buy from Wal-mart?

If you copy a commercial design and sell it, you'll get syooed.

I suppose that's technically true, although it doesn't seem to have stopped the Engrish.com store...

There's some complicated thing about international copyright law that lets them do that - the same thing that makes anime fansubs legal, I think.

...Anime fansubs aren't legal. The rights holders just turn a blind eye because they know it spreads word of mouth and increases sales should officially sanctioned translations be released outside of Japan. Sort of the way Microsoft doesn't care so much if people in poor countries pirate Windows; when those countries get richer they will be used to Windows and MS will start getting tough about copyright law. Unlicenced distribution can benefit rights holders in some contexts.

I think technically they are, until the show is liscenced in America. At least, I've heard that from several people. But the Japanese companies like fansubs anyway, you're definitely right about that. And I think a fansub group got a cease-and-desist from a Japanese company once, and they stopped the sub. So even if I'm right, the rights-holders' tolerance has more to do with the subs' continued existence than whether a judge would rule them actually against the law.

My, this is off-topic.
