Hi, we're Ayn and all. We are 44 years old and were diagnosed as a multiple back in 1990. They say we also have major depression, diabetes, and arthritis.
We have three boys and their families, but have been resingle since 1993. Other loves are our friends either in person or on the computer and our professional friends. They are each unique and give us our world.
We work in a big city for a small Center for adults with developmental disabilities. We live in the suburbs and have two sibling cats who keep us company.
That's about it! Please leave comments. We'd like to know you too!

Date: 2003-09-19 12:02 pm (UTC)My name is Juliana and I'm part of a group of over 90 people (lost count/gave up a long time ago). No official diagnosis for us, but it's fairly obvious (to us, at least!) ;)
I'm a third year University student studying ancient Near Eastern languages and civilisations and hoping to go to graduate school in the same field (although next year, aside from Hebrew and Akkadian, I'm planning on taking Latin and Classical Greek just so I can "fit in" a little more down in the Classical and Near Eastern studies TA office.) I work in the department I'm majoring in, so I know a lot of the graduate students.
We have a SO who knows and loves us all for who we are, and that's wonderful in and of itself. :)
And, lastly, we're figure skaters. Attempting to take that darned Novice Moves test yet again next Wednesday. We like double loops and sit spins ;)
Nice to meet you!
~Juliana
Hi Juliana!
Date: 2003-09-20 01:29 am (UTC)You're undergraduate work sounds very exciting. You have a lot to be proud of! I sure hope you continue on all the way to having a doctorate. We've kept up with your posts since we have been here. We were interested in how you have been getting on. You have a lot on your agenda. Been a little concerned in that you seem to have been sick some.
I am really happy to hear that you have someone so loving and supportive of you. This really seems to be the way to go!
We really hope the best for you with the figure skating as well. I think it is a beautiful and athletic path you are on.
We look forward to hearing from you again! Thank you for commenting to our message. It means a lot to us!
