Hi my name is Lestaunt im a new alter in this system ad since i am lacking an LJ account I am using one of the littles (i hope he doesnt mind). I have a need that I would really like help on right now. I have decided to do a research paper for o ur school on multiples (i think its funny since i would have first hand expeience hence having a leg up). and i wanted to know (by 11am Pacific standard time) how they feel about the way multiples are represented in the pubic eye. My main example in my paper ae two (four) characters from ABC's One Life to Live. Viki Davidson (Niki Smith) and Jess Buchanan (Tess buchanan). So if any one would like to give me feed back on what you think of how they are portayed i would be delighted.

if they are correct in the way we act
if they are potraying us in good or bad light
and wether or not they aree or dis agree on our portrayl

I love how "alters" names on tv always seem to have to rhyme with the other persons name. Thats so weird. Kinda waited till the last minute to do your paper huh? Sorry I cant really help because I havent seen those people on tv.

ya well ya know im a teen ager with 8 other people who want tpo be out i got no time to do it. lol and ya i think that is why Sean is Sean (cause the original is John). we make Sean mad by telling him that Sean means John in Celtic or some thing lol

I'm sixteen and it's called cooperation. The physical, earth world responsibilities have to come first. Or get someone in your group who can handle it. Or if your group is like ours and doesn't have a lot of control over who comes out, you can still put together an agenda and schedule of what needs to be done, and follow it. If you have any form of communication or co-consciousness, this is a great time to use it.

A research paper is a lot more in-depth than a simple theme or essay. It can take weeks, sometimes months, to prepare, even with so many articles now available on line. Much of the good stuff, especially older stuff, is not digitized yet, and many online magazines and journals now require payment to access articles. You may find yourself making trips to the university library and reading microfilms.

We learned how to do a research paper in civics class when this body was thirteen. Involved in the project were members of my system ranging from ten (me) to fifteen (Iris), so it obviously isn't beyond a teenager's level. There are many good online guides on how to do a good research paper (http://owl.english.purdue.edu/workshops/hypertext/ResearchW/). Maybe this will be helpful with the next one.

I think you'll find most multiples on this community agree that the majority of television and movie portrayals suck.

What little we've seen of those characters.. it's varied.. sometimes it almost sorta fits.. but the fact that they've stayed hmm.. "disordered" loosing time, hmm.. for what.. viki/niki was introduced in the late 70's early 80's.. is kaka.. we hate portrayals like that.. and it's always Viki is good Niki is bad.. being plural is bad.. (there was another portrayal of a multiple on days of our lives or something about 20 years ago.. it was a buisnessman accused of killing someone.. during the trial they found out there was an angry one, and a little kid.. the angry one beat the person they were accused of killing up.. but didn't kill them..)

just our two pence, but no they're not correct.. always in a bad light, We strongly disagree on the way plurals are portrayed..

so you're working on a paper and just decided what to do it on at the last minute? maybe you should try and get your own research done first, write up the paper and perhaps nicely ask those in this community to read your finished project.. or ask if there were some examples or a quote you could add to your finished project.. nicely, of course.. it isn't very polite for you to ask others to do your work for you..

As far as a good light, ussually the only ones
who are shown in a good light are the long suffering

You can also check the memory archives of this community. You can also do Google searches on the subjects you're looking for. This is basic research and is one of the things your group is in college to learn. Good luck.

I think that if you want to do a paper about how you experience life it should be about you. Find out what works, helps, effects, and hinders you and yours. I think it is juvenile and repulsive to ask others to handle a paper for you without offering what you have come up with by yourself. Just my opinion.

we never saw that show. we dont have any English channels on our TV. so we can't watch those shows.
