I (we?) am (are? Going to type in singular for the purpose of being clear) not sure whether or not I am a multiple. I do have various times where someone else seems to 'front', as I've heard it called. There are arguments. There are several in here.
But I am not sure.
Regardless, multiplicity is very facinating, and I'm always open to talk to multiples!

Date: 2006-02-18 12:41 am (UTC)Also, it helped us to learn that things like switching and fronting aren't always as cut-and-dried as TV and sensationalistic 'true stories' make them sound. You can share the front, you can "blur" with someone else, you can be co-present in a lot of ways. I've actually stopped using the word "co-consciousness," for the most part, because my consensus was that a wide variety of different phenomena were being lumped together under one label. "There are many ways to be many"-- bearing that in mind was helpful for us.
