"I'm a big supporter of multiple personality disorder," jokes the star who has put on a new face for such movie hits as "The Mask" and "How the Grinch Stole Christmas." Carrey's latest comedy, "Fun with Dick and Jane," opened Wednesday.

Reminds me of John Cleese

The rumour is that they gave him prozac - which
is why he is not funny any more.

About a week ago i was talking to a very famous
artist. He told me that genius always comes with
a touch of madness ;-)

Lets pray that they don't dose up Jim Carey ;-)

I never liked him either, but somehow he keeps appearing in my dreams. THAT is creepy.

I *looooooove* Jim Carrey! John Cleese is also da bomb! I'm a HUGE Monty Python fan.

Yes, he did Me, Myself and Irene. >_< The Truman Show is the only one of his movies I really liked. I'm afraid to watch MM&I, even to do a terrible review of it. Every multiple we've known who saw it said it was pretty atrocious.

Chiming in to agree that MM&I is worthless and should not be watched, except for mockery purposes, or something to do if hammering nails into your hand is the only other available option.

No accounting for taste

I think I know the only multiple who liked that movie. Their description of the ending made no sense. I'm also pretty damn lenient on this sort of thing; I liked Raising Caine, and find Psycho Beach Party to be a decent parody of a few genres, including your classic multiple as serial killer thriller.

On a completely different note, have you seen Adaptation? In general, it's a good movie, but there's this one part I think you'll get a kick out of. It's this amusing sequence where the main "character" rips apart the script produced by his fictional twin brother, which just so happens to have a "Multiple Personality" subplot. One line from that scene deserves to be at the beginning of almost every review on a movie dealing with the topic.

In general, the whole subplot dealing with his brother's script is bound to be considered funny by anyone who's watched a lot of crappy thrillers.

My fave is The Mask.

He was best on In Living Colour, though.

Off-topic, but that's the best [x holiday] icon I've seen to date.

*bows* We got him off a website and Andy put in the lettering in Irfanview.

Dear Cthulhu:
I have been a very eldritch boy this year. Please bring me a shantak.

How would you go about lettering-ing something in Irfanview? I've never noticed that option.

Select part of the image (say, draw a rectangle across the bottom of it), then hit control-T (or choose "Edit," then "Insert text into selection") and you'll see the text options. We did nearly all our named icons this way. Have fun!

Haha, awesome. Thanks. That should save us a lot of time when we need to put text on things. :)
