Ah, hello ... I'm Jade, and .. yeah. I .. recently found out (well, months ago) I am a multiple. Rather, I knew something of it last year, but never really acknowledged it until recently because all I knew of was the textbook case of it (will not say the d word. T T). Given that I only recently found out, I have a small system, but it's been growing in number rapidly lately ...

There are two things I'd like to ask ... answers would be greatly appreciated, of course ..

My school somehow has three multiples. I was really surprised to find out, and somehow, we've kind of .. managed to find each other. Only one of us three has a textbook case of childhood abuse, and myself and a friend who calls herself Tick have it for seemingly no reason at all. The textbook case girl .. has become recently spiteful of everyone (which will be mentioned in the next question because it's .. really sad) so it's been me and Tick.

The thing is, Tick and myself have been getting a lot of people who .. seem to know each other. And people seem to visit one another. Like one of Tick's will suddenly pop up and say "Hi!" or one of mine will go to see hers.

Has this ever happened to anyone else ...?

Now, for the .. textbook case girl. She's the type of multiple that runs around letting EVERYONE know she has it. I've known since I met her last year.

Last year, it seemed like she had an awesome relationship with everyone. She'd tell me stories about things that've happened recently, and she'd switch so I could talk to them.

This year, she no longer switches. She has three times, and each time, it appears to be forced. When I ask her where everyone is, she shrugs and says "I don't know". She has .. journals that she used to share with everyone, and out of curiousity, I checked one of them.

She hates all of her "voices", as she called them (I don't like calling them that, because they're more than voices..). She's even killed some of them herself. When one makes a mistake, she tries to kill them all. She constantly locks them out, and ... well, one of mine, Lem says that they simply don't exist anymore ...

She makes lists of everyone all of the time, and Lem says that .. she's simply clinging onto the shadows--the memories--of everyone.

Does anyone know of anything like this .. and maybe anything that can be done? I just want to .. tell her of what she's done, but I'm not sure of what to say ...

We tend to make lists here when we are confused as to who is still around or not. It helps us sort out what we see or who we have seen inside. I have no idea if that is why the girl you mentioned does it but its something to think about especially since her stories sound conflicting from what she wrote, Id think she is probably very confused right now.

We do travel back and forth with one (sometimes 2) other system(s). But even I myself am wary of it at times and its partly because I discovered that having other people tell me what happens in my system is very hmm...intrusive or can be depending on the situation.

I know that multiples sometimes find each other. It happened with me and my Mistress quite by accident and there was no way either of us could have known about the other before hand. (There was also proof from other people that each of our systems existed before we met each other). There are also some people who just want to jump into it for whatever reason. People we had each known for years then they found out we were both multi and all the sudden they were multi too! It was just odd to say the least and some ended up taking it back after some serious thought. So it just really depends on the people involved I think.

Traveling and visiting are routine for some systems. We are very well acquainted with two groups who not only visit all the time, but a handful of people from Group A feel more comfortable fronting in Group B's body.

We used to know a girl who said there were several other multiples in her high school. Most of them were very routine about it and did not, as you say, run around telling everyone they had it, although they were friends of each other. Most were not diagnosed or in therapy.

The second girl has been either playing with the idea and then decided she didn't want to do that any more, or has done something that we did several times: Our main front at the time felt we shouldn't exist (because "crazy" etc.) and tried to kill us off or at best lock us out. Or we would actually try to suppress ourselves for the sake of the earth world life. That was years before anyone had even heard of "multiple personality disorder", years before Sybil came out. When he did read Sybil, it was so unlike anything he'd ever experienced that he dismissed the possibility.

Based on our experience and that of some of our correspondents and friends: If this girl's people are real, sooner or later they will re-assert themselves as we did. Can't get rid of people (or a facility for hosting (http://www.astraeasweb.net/plural/glossary.html#host) or gating (http://www.astraeasweb.net/plural/glossary.html#gateway)) that easy.

Ok Hi Ya'll I am not understanding this post and how it continues at all, Please continue reading and my response for expalnation.

I was not of the understanding that one of my system mates like one of the Mosaics could decide to go front over with Atreaea or Kasia and travel????? Read The posts please and please give me info. I'm feeling shady about this whole thing.

Are ya'll saying say Andy (just for example) could show up in the Mosaic House Gang and Elaine could go live on Kasia or Laruana( sorry I forgot how its spelled.) Or well now I am just confused. I dont get this at all. Wouldent a person need a physical body to front with? or Are you and the OP speaking of spiritual travel or is this more a soulbond situation.

I understand a system within a system visiting one another but how does one visit a system outside of there Homeland ? Houshold? or Gang ? or show up? I wonder because Elaine might think she could pop up and be a part of your system visiting ( her wanting to go to California and all) but woudent we all have to take a vote and have either a consensus or Majority rules thing and actually have "the birthling" pick up and leave or are you all talking astro projection? I ve never heard of this traveling to other sytems the way she is describing it.
I am posting to you because your saying You are aware of some that travel. I have been able to travel within the Hotel of Mosaics to Elaine Bratz Pac but I cant go take up space on Kasia or Lauren.

I hope I'm explaining this well enough because this is how her post is comming off. Thanks any information would be immensley helpful. I'm having what "the birthlng "calls "brain Freeze "on this one, which she normally gets, but not me.I'm stumped ya know I take things rather litterally but I dont get this metaphorically eiteher and Manassah says 'its written wrong or just not possible" Thanks Allot I say this because were all wondering if this is something we should be able to do being multiple. Honestly, none of us (ksol1460) really know how it happens. We resist describing it with terms like spiritual travel or astral projection because we don't think it's either of those and the whole thing is very, very subjective.

I mean, we can say we have been doing this kind of thing since we were about ten, but we don't know how it's done. Other people talk about traveling and visiting other worlds or other people's systems too, and it is not unknown even for singlets (obviously, they would do that while their body slept or maybe was in a trance state or something -- we don't know much about that).

We don't go where we haven't been invited. People are welcome to come to Laura, or try to -- and we've even had people from other groups' worlds settle here (Katra, for instance -- came here as an ambassador from another group and married one of our princes). I can say that we've experienced this, but that doesn't mean it has any objective reality. I can say that most of the time, people return to their own places.

Many of us are not even sure we really do it or that people from other groups have really visited us (assuming that Laura has any objective existence at all). Other people say they've been here and try to confirm it by saying what they remember about it, but it's really up in the air -- nothing is certain and it is the least definable of our experiences as a group.

Maybe we'll write up something about this for beyondthegates but it's going to take more time and energy than we have at present to concentrate on how to describe it more fully than we have here.

his could be her attempt to keep track of what is going on with her people and keeping track of who's doing what when. It can help in communication at first to tracka nd journal and make lists of who contributes and who does nlo during the day. It doesnt nesscscarily mean she is trying to "kill them" I doubt tha he could kill them witout actually harming her body too she could however sience "block them out for a while "or ingnore . It sounds like kinda normal. I wouldent worry about them leaving for good, we had a somewhat simailar situation of others leaving or being forced to leave but one by one they are returning, just much differnt from when they left. So were all having to get re aqquainted.

I still don't understand how people can visit other systems. It just doesn't seem possible.

And as for multiples finding each other... that seems to happen to me too. My fiance, for example. When he told me about his others he had no idea that I was a multiple as well.
