I was wondering if anyone here can link me to any information on integrating from a non-"This is necessary" perspective. I think I'm integrating naturally and I'd like to find resources on it but I can't seem to find anything from an empowered multiple-type POV.

i thought "the flock (http://www.powells.com/cgi-bin/biblio?inkey=1-0449907325-8)" did that. although i know people who feel differently. but their therapist never pushed integration and it seemed like it just happened naturally/by accident for them.

i wonder whether Multiple's guide to harmonized family living, The : a healthy alternative (or prelude) to integration (http://mpbooks.artefact.org.nz/display_book.php?BookID=4) would have anything helpful. it might.

oh i just ran across another on that site called More than survivors: conversations with multiple personality clients (http://mpbooks.artefact.org.nz/display_book.php?BookID=29) whereof one of the reviews says "I was so encouraged that life could be wonderful during the healing and after with [or] without integration."

Integration from an empowered viewpoint would be by choice, not because some doctor said you had to? And it happens naturally or you guys do it yourselves, not with some doctor at the helm.

We have seen very, very little material on this. We once heard of someone who deliberately integrated her entire system by herself. It took a long time. Somewhere we have an article from Nova or Discover or one of those about a lady who spontaneously integrated. I'll see if I can find it.
