Meeting someone?
Mar. 27th, 2003 12:16 pmI think that I may be meeting someone. I am not entirely certain yet, as her voice isn't truly clear yet, mostly images and strong feelings.
The first time I felt her was when my husband was very angry. I felt fear, such fear, and she was angry at me for not protecting her. I tried to go inside myself and find her, but she seemed to run from me.
Now today, I am painting my bathroom vanity white. The rest of the bathroom is yellow so far and I was pondering how to bring the navy blue up from the tiles into the rest of the room without making it look all Sears and Roebuck, and these images of a child's drawing kept popping in my head of a yellow sunshine and a blue sky on white paper with a green floor (green bathmat) drawn on the vanity's front. I *almost* told myself I was being childish, but realized that it "might" me her again, and in that context saw it differently. I may even do it! :)
She didn't want me to share this at first, but now she seems okay with it. Anyway, I felt the need to share this. Thanks.

Date: 2003-04-10 12:14 pm (UTC)And now for one of those "only a multiple would understand and possibly find this amusing" stories...
Imagine having a one who hasn't been up since elementary school start surfacing at work. At a foundry. While you're standing next to a vat of molten aluminum, running a million dollars worth of die casting machinery that'll kill or maim you in a hearbeat. Those were some trying times. Just imagine the excuses you have to make when something gets screwed up and the foreman has to shut down that production line for 3 hours to fix it. Luckily, once I got enough of the Krew crosstrained, We got very good at casting, so We more than made up for earlier glitches. If the lungs had held up, We might still be there today.
On the upside, We now have about 30 years of die casting experience even though We only worked there 2 1/2 years... LOL
