First time poster and a question

Hello, all. This is my (our?) first time posting to the community, though I'm a long-time watcher.

Doing a little poking and prodding around my system (one original multiple, two soulbonds), and in the last 20 minutes have redefined what sort of system it is, as well as discovered one lost 'tenant' and noticed that one other has... 'phased' is the best word I can come up with... from one name and 'face' to another, but is still essentially the same personality.

Okay, rewording the question:

Has anyone else out there 'looked away' for a time, then come back to discover one of their bonds/personalities has become a new person, but their essential personality has not changed in the slightest? I'm finding it to be an interesting phenomenon.

*blinks* Not sure I understand the question? You mean to say, they've changed their name or appearance or whatever, but their personality traits are still basically the same? Yes, we know several systems who have done this, for some it's a regular occurrence.

Yeah. Sorry for the convolution-- it's about 2 am here and it's been one of those long long days. Here's my example:

Have a soulbond. For the longest time, years, that soulbond took the name and 'face' of a specific character that matched its personality. It has since become a new character, like putting on a clean t-shirt and abandoning the old one entirely, but the personality and the slot it occupies in our system is still the same.

Is that a little better idea of what I'm getting at..?

We have had people do that when they felt that for whatever reason they couldn't reveal themselves to the frontrunners (and by that I mean me, long story). We've had people disguise essential things about themselves and give different names.

We call that hiding or sabotage or hide and seek or shadowing or lurking the little kids call it hide and seek Us teens are more cynical. I like shadowing best and lurking Usually when someone is not sure how to introduce themself or act they observe . But not in a blink we can really be aware of it Yeah ithappens

Hi,
My entire system was pretty inactrive from somewhere in the summer of 2002 to somewhere in the fall of 2003. Inactive as in not influeincing my behaviour or not being important in the way I related to the environment. However, during that time some changes did occur and indeed when I "looked back" I saw that two of my insiders had changed names/faces but were still essentially the same.

It seems to be much the same. *nods* Yuber showed up where someone else used to be, but when I looked harder, Yuber hadn't actually *replaced* that someone else... that someone else had *become* Yuber. But their personalities are so much the same and the transition was so slight that the part of me the bond fills didn't even notice a difference. Essentially, there *is* no difference between the two of them except in name.

....I'm going in circles now. XD Sorry.

Some people in here have been through different 'generations' also. I'm not quite sure if it's different people using the same name, or the same person presenting themselves in different ways.
