I was just playing around with an idea tonight that I'd like some feedback on...

I remember that when we were working on Pavilion, there was an idea at one point to do a directory of multiples by geographical location. We never really had enough people involved to make a very extensive one, but I'm wondering if any significant portion of this group would be interested in listing their locations. I found a service that allows people to put their names on a map here.

So, interest...? You wouldn't necessarily need to do anything with the information-- it wouldn't mean you'd *have* to meet up with anyone in your area, for instance; it might just be interesting to see the geographic scope of the community.

I had a quick look at the site, and couldn't really find much details other than the main page, and on it the map was of North America. So of course my grumpy bum face came up and wondered if it was only going to be possible to do an American map thus excluding us "strange foreigners"

ok then I will put my grumpy bum face away in storage for future use

We have no worries about given out our location, ok maybe not exact street address, but you know...

Is this just for New Zealand or is it repeating in America as well? I kind of missed it the first time, and I wanted to see it...

Failing that, does anyone know where I can find transcripts or excerpts from the interview?

You could try http://www.cbsnews.com -- They often have transcripts and tapes for sale.

I wonder how long they keep tapes of things like this... Thanks to tuition, I'm kind of strapped for cash, but I'd like to eventually grab this.
