Things are edgy on the inside. Solace has locked our system down to keep anyone else from wandering off. The kiddos are all having mixed reactions to being locked inside all day. The apartment feels way too empty. Copain is the only other person able to come up front with me, everyone else is tied down looking after the kiddos.

I want this to stop. I want my family back.

Unyielding indifference, don't let me down now...

*SIGH*

I feel we are in a similar situation with relation to your 'lock down' and restrictions on who fronts and the like. Things are not going well.
I hope they get better for you.

I know how you feel, a little while ago Kyla enforced a "no-tolerance" thing about privacy. Everybody was getting really angry about it until we went on vacation to barcelona...

Cadence ended up having an affair with a spanish guy who worked at the hotel we stayed at. Kyla hasn't been out or spoken to any of us since...and that was a week ago.

Don't let yourself get in this situation...it is a huge ball of stress up there - talk it through with Solace asap!

Why not combine them all and be as one?

I'm laughing my head off... Combine them all, yeah right... as if that's even possible in most cases.

Some people really are oblivious aren't they?

...and people say I live in my own little world!

Is there something....wrong with you?

If you are going to post on this journal...why don't you try checking out some previous posts..

I would be lost without my siblings..just because we share a body doesn't mean that there is a problem, we were born like this - we couldn't reverse 25 years of our lives and *pop* into one being. There are very few here who agree with attempts at intergration

Why do you want to keep them seperate???

First off: many systems couldn't "integrate" even if they wanted to. Most integration attempts fail.

Second: it may be hard to understand for people who are used to "being alone in their head", because they're used to that and may have come to think that this is the Only Right Way to Be. However, think of it this way: why do you want to stay separate from the rest of the people who live in your street?

Seperate thoughts are very different from seperate people.

Um, as someone said some time ago, "Do you know where you are?"

1) If you a) are "we" and b) have some idea where you are, why that particular suggestion?

2) Just exactly how would you propose to "combine them all and be as one"?

1. To help you synchronize your personality, and
2.Psychotherapy

Hm. You probably don't know where you are, then. How about following some links from the community info page?

Synchronizing one's personality implies that there is one person whose sense of self is confused. That is not the case in multiplicity. The only kind of "sychronizing" most systems on this community strive for is commonly called "working together".

Psychotherapy isn't some kind of magic wand. How would it work? What would happen? Would you also suggest psychotherapy to make gay people into non-gay people, or autistic people into non-autistic people?

Got what? Got it right about your having to get yourself informed? Got it right about "psychotherapy" being an insufficient answer?

If you think there are several people in you, then there is something very wrong with you.

Reading things these people said made you decide to come over here and advise integration to a random community member? How... inefficient.

Generally, people don't take kindly to an outsider with no apparent credentials telling them how to run their life.

Interested and respectful non-multiples are welcome here. The keyword is 'respectful'. Coming into this community out of nowhere and informing us that we all have something wrong with us and are in need of psychotherapy, without taking time to read the community info or ask questions about our perspective, is not only disrespectful but arrogant.

If you wish to stay and learn more, you're welcome to it, but continued comments like "there is something wrong with you" smack of trolling and will be grounds for a banning.

Well then by all means, ask us questions..but don't be rude.

I think that you are assuming that having "multiple personalities" means that different parts of a single person broke off into different personalities - so by using Intergration and Psychotherapy then all problems will be fixed and *voila* another cured person ready to jump back into society.

My brothers and sisters would be rather offended if i suggested they all "become one persona" because they do not belong as one. We are all different people, not figments of *somebody's* imagination.
