[identity profile] deadlyblackrose.livejournal.com posting in [community profile] multiplicity_archives
Hi. Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm new here. I just discovered this community a few hours ago and before that had never even heard of multiplicity. After reading this for the past few hours i'm extremely interested and alot of experiences people post here sound similar to experiences i have had myself.

So in the future I'm probably going to be asking a lot of questions, but i thought i'd say hi first. I'm just interested in your experiences and the separate people that live in one body, i'm not sure i really quite understand that. forgive me im not trying to be rude, i just have no clue :-)

so if i ask you any dumb questions, i'm not insulting you, I'm just clueless and please just explain to me whatever i said wrong :-) thanks.

As for me, I'm interested in this because though ive never heard of multiplicity I've considered myself, this journal and the thoughts behind it, a separate person than my other livejournal, and than the person i am in real life. I'm not sure what this means, ive never really even thought about it before now.

Well thats all ive got to say for now, thanks again.

Consider the option that you may not be "separate" people at all, but rather that you allow the different parts of yourself to be expressed at certain times, and only at certain times. There's a difference between that and actually having a different person fronting for LJ than in real life (from what I've read, that seems as though it would be a rare occurrence).

Do you consider this 'second-life/second-journal' to be you, and just a different side of you, or does the journal/journaller(?) have his/her own ideas, wants, needs, emotions... is she separate?
The difference between 'role-playing' (not in a bad way) and being separate.
