okay, anyone see Medium last night? it's a show about a psychic...MEDIUM on NBC

well, last night's ep was about this Dr who killed a girl, turns out, he's got a walk-in...and the walk-in is the killer, using people to carry out his murders...it really made me mad, and the dr was diagnosed with DID and he so didn't have it...

it just pissed me off...media doing it again...

IMO anyway:

When it comes to crappy portrayals in the media, we're basically in the same position as any other 'minority' group. People who are not us and know little to nothing about us, or who have 'expert consultants' who are also not us, are writing these scripts, and are going to continue to get away with doing so unless we protest.

I recommend that you write to them about it. Be direct but polite, and use good spelling/grammar/punctuation. You may want to give some links to sites about non-disordered multiplicity, or multiples who live normal lives (regardless of origins)-- I think a lot of people simply don't know such things exist. Actually, I'm going to write to them also-- is there a site with a summary of the episode, so I can get an idea of what exactly was said?
