Hi, I just joined.

I don't think I'm "plural" or "multiple"...but I have over 100 imaginary friends...and if they ever need a body or mind, they use mine...but I'm still in control, and I am somewhat aware that these people are not "real" to anyone else.

One of my imaginary friends has multiple personalities, though...he might pop in and write some entries. But he still isn't completely comfortable with the idea of having two minds in one body.

So, I just thought I'd introduce myself. Does anyone else in this community have imaginary friends? I love meeting other people with IFs =)

Well...since they're imaginary, they don't have a body of their own...they just sort of take over mine. Does that make sense?...

I guess they never really "need" a body...but, let's say I'm playing a game with my sister that requires more than two players, some of them will play with us, but they need to use my body, since "invisible" people can't play the game...

Oh, boy...I just confused myself...meh.

It's hard to explain. I'm not sure if I even know. ^ ^;;

Depending on how "real" they are or aren't, what you just described might not be that different to being median (in which case, you kind of are plural).

Otherwise, you might also want to check out soulbonding?

Median? Cool...I'm new to this, so I'm not really sure of all the terminology...

When I was little I referred to the other people sharing my body as "imaginary friends", but now I realize they're just as real as I am. So I guess I don't experience it the same as you. . .

Hmmm...yeah, I just don't think of my friends as "real"...maybe they're real in an alternate universe or something...but for now, I think I'm the only one in this body.

My dad's friend Fly who's in another system is called Fly coz when the body was real little Sandy their birth person was talking to him and someone said, who are you talking to? And she said, that fly there.

Hi! You have a pretty icon. Do you have a forest inside? We do, most of our country place is all forests and things but we live in a clearing with huts and tree houses. Me and my brother live in a tree house with bunk beds.

How can the imaginary friend that is multiple be uncomfortable with the idea of two minds in one body? I mean...being multiple kind of imples that more than one mind in one body is his natural state of being...

Well...it's sort of complicated. I guess what I meant to say is that, he accepts the idea and all...he just doesn't like the other person. They are comfortable with the idea of sharing a body, they just don't like each other. Does that make sense? I don't know...I tend to confuse myself...
