Dear Friend,

We know what you are saying when you said that there was nothing in your head like the worlds that some of us have in ours. We had to put them there. For us I just think about it being there sometimes I have to build it. But mostly I just think about it and it is there. You will not get it right the first time or two but keep trying. and your "T" should help you with it as well. We set up ours as a big house and the front door is our forhead. So you go threw the doors and then down a hall. On each side of this hall is rooms. That is the rooms/safe place for each of our Alters to have. In their rooms we set it up like anyone other bedroom/ 1 room apartment. And then there is a door at the end of the hall that is your Room (my room) and when I meditate that is where I go. There is also a small black door about 2 feet wide and about 3 feet tall that is right beside my door. In that room is where we keep allt he things we cant deal with yet. and we keep it locked.

When you are makeing your rooms look good we did it this way. we took jars (once again just thought about them and they were there in our hands) and put the video clips of what was flooting around the room in each one of clip for one jar. Then put it on a shelf. After we got it all done then we started taeking them off the shelfs and opening it and seeing if we needed that or not if not we threw it out like taeking out the trash. if we needed it then we found it the home that we wanted to keep it at.

You an paint the walls or make beds the shape of anything you want Savannah wants hers the shape of a big Heart so it is. with Purple silk sheets and blanket and she has pilliows all over it. she has a panther named Rock. Angel has a pony, and two dogs. See you can put what ever you want in there. In their back yard of the house there is a dirt track where they race 4 wheelers and motorcycles.

It is up to you and your Alters what you want in there talk to each of them and see what they would want. And for the lack of better words dream it up for them. If you want or need more help with them please contact me directly at

You are right it is not easy there is nothing about haveing MPD/DID that is. But a person will not get better nor better that something if they dont keep trying. And we all run into so many mean people in the outside world that dont understand and that judge us fastly. That I try to support and incurage anyone who is trying to better thenselfs. It is not easy to do any of this. But it is possible. And what works for one may not for another you are right there too. But dont you think as a MPD/DID you have to try. You have to keep trying new things till you find that is right for you and your system.

But a friendship can and does go along way exspecialy if it is from someone who understands.

I understand it is not as easy as that. But I was asked how do I do it. And I know that there are others that can do it this way. I also told them to ask and talk to their "T" about it. That is the way I was taught and the only way I know how to do it. I am sorry If I offened you i did not mean to do that to anyone. I just was shareing what I/We do.

How to you build your inside world. So next time I am asked how do I do that I can say this is how I do it but I know of others that do it this way as well.

Knowledge is power, and power is how we get better.

In either case, I'm not offended, as much as hoping to bring a broader perspective to the table. I don't, for example, discount your methods as completely ineffective. As I understand it, however, some systems might require more involved methods.

Knowledge is certainly power, and the exchange of knowledge is a significant portion of helping people empower themselves.

I am very sorry it was not me that answered that it was one of my alters. She is very pertective of us and gets very defencive at times. Please forgive her and me for letting her answer without checking what she had been doing on the computer.

I know you understand....

And yes _I_ do agree it is not always as simple as what we can do. We are here to help anyone that might need it and we dont have any trouble saying we dont know how to do that. you need to talk to your "T"...

Imagining isn't the issue

I can imagine, for example, the LJ servers melting down into slag. This doesn't mean it happened.

For some people, this is how the space they occupy when they are not fronting works.

However, my beliefs also allow for directed will used alongside imagination, as having the ability to quantifiably affect the world around the person doing the imagining. In theory, one could imagine something like that into being. However, the expenditure of effort would vary, both according to the person, and the goal.

For some, the directed will manifests as conciously making the decision to draft, and build the house. For others, with more control over their surroundings, it will manifest differently.

What is important, is that it is manifesting.

Given the nature of the beast, there is significant risk of self-deceit, even in perfectly legitimate circumstances. One should be mindful of that. It should not go to the extreme, where one applies unnecessary limitations on themselves, and loses all faith in their potential.

There are enough artificial limitations placed upon everyone every day, to artificially impose your own.
