Can anyone help?

Hi all, I have a question. Yesterday an "entity" joined the system, or maybe it's a fly-by *LOL* We call it an entity because we are not sure what it is, hence this post. It is not a person, or doesn't seem like it now. It's more like an energy. It came "swooping" through the system a few times yesterday, spreading unneccessary fear, tention, and anger. It seems to be made of these emotions and manifested itself as a ball of fire with glowing eyes. It doesn't front, cause harm, or try to "take over," so we are not afraid of it. We would just like to know what/who it is, why they are there, and be able to communicate with it. Can anyone give us some ideas or advice?

What we do is we gather a small "delegation party" and meet with the newcomer. We figure out their intentions, what they are like and what their plans are in relation to staying for awhile or moving on. Once we've decided that they are harmless, they are invited back to the Mansion to meet the others. It's no different than people do in the rest of the world.

We tried that, talking to it, but it doesn't communicate. All it does so far when we try is kinda of grunt and "raise its flames," then move one.

Do you have any in your group who are "telepaths"? Or anything along those lines? We have found empaths and telepaths to be of great help. If not, maybe let it be for now. Or you could leave gifts or try building a bonfire. Do things you think it might like and see how it responds. We are curious about newcomers to our world.

Cristie is an Empath. She's very shy, though. Maybe we can talk her in to trying to communicate with it. Thanks for the advice :)

Ok probably not much help, but Flame communicates to us through the colour, strength and movement of her fire. It took some of us alot of time to work out what she was saying, but still basically what I am saying is communication isn't always word based.

It sounds frightened, or shy. Take it softly, softly; and the empathy thing sounds like a very good idea.

Our system has several such entities -- we've been calling them "Clouds" -- that don't seem to have an active consciousness but can come in and out and affect the overall mood of any active personae. Our clouds seem more based to particular emotions and ideas, and when they are present, any person is affected. Depending on the Cloud, we can become hair-triggery, or really childish, or, for lack of better wording, kitten-like (we speak to each other as well as to the outside world with purrs and meows in addition to regular words). In our case, they are incredibly difficult to force out of the forefront, and the best we can do is wait out the Clouds' effects (more that one Cloud can be around at a time) until they go back to... wherever they go.

Cat-Cuddly-Delta is nice to be around, but Beast-Outrage-Tarnish and Depression-Terror-Winter ended up breaking Gamma. So our clouds are interesting wildcards at times.

It sounds like that thing on the old Star Trek episode "Day of the Dove". Have you tried doing what they did in that episode -- just getting together and indulging in positive emotions, laughing and so forth? If it is no threat to you, maybe it'll get the message you're no threat to it, either.
