Abusive personalities

We're new around here, so forgive us if we're not quite up to date on any of the commonly used lingo or terms commonly used round here. If any of the terms we use are confusing or offensive, please let us know.

We are not a natural multiple. The birth personality didn't have other personalities until the age of 13. When Brian and I appeared, he wasn't too happy about the idea of willingly sharing his life with us. We were ok with that, and willingly let him treat us as servants, but some of the later personalities objected to that, and demanded equal rights, including sanctioned control of our body at regular intervals. The birth personality refused, so three years of fighting between his side and theirs resulted. The tactics used were rather savage at times, including purposfully hurting the body and those personalities within it. Rape of the female personalities inner bodies was rather common as well, and occured on both sides. Eventually the birth personality was willing to concede equal time in control to any personalities that wanted it, and the conflict ended for the majority of us.

However, many of the male personalities who participated in rape during the initial conflict have continued to do so to satisfy their own lust and desire for power.

We've tried to work things out with them ourselves, but they seem to view female personalities as inferior as refuse to tak us seriously. We tried having our close friends on the outside talk to them but that hasn't helped either. The idea of integration is terrifying to most of us, because we think it would mean ending our existence in all meaningful ways. We tried seeking out a therapist who might offer some sort of mediation without trying to recombine us, but had no luck with that whatsoever. All of them said they were unwilling to take our case.

We've tried figuring out the cause. Initially we believe it might have to do with having a male body, but we seek to keep it's carnal drives fairly well satisfied so we don't believe that's the issue.

Currently the offenders either exist down within our subconscious in a sort of a realm we call the dreamscape where they live peaceful lives in a sort of dreamworld. That appears to be working at the moment, however in the past we've developed solutions that have seemed promising but have failed. We were wondering if anyone else has had similar troubles, and if they've developed successful ways of solving them.

Well I did have a question actually.

Your inner world sounds rather "solid" compared to ours. Our inner world is rather prone to being warped by the will of those within it. For example if we created prisons like the humans in your system have, the personalities we were trying to imprison would just will them into non-existance.

So I guess my question is has your inner world always been as "solid" as it is now, or did you do something to make it that way?

at one time control was given to two entities that were able to make things solid or they could, at will, warp our inner reality. Nowadays, most anyone can warp inner reality but our system is far more cooperative so its less harmful to have given everyone that ability.
