An introduction

Greetings. My name - or at least my convenient pseudonym - is Reynart (of Reynart and Fenrir). You could say I am a "walk-in", since I arrived from another world and am sharing the body of someone who resides in this one. We joined this community to enjoy the perspectives of others who share a body - hammering out the logistics and such. It has been a new experience for both of us. Such things as food preferences, computer time and openness about my existence are still under debate.

I was inspired to introduce myself by our resident crusader. *grins* The truth is that in his point of view I probably would be seen as a "demon." I do not think I am so terrible, though.

There are some in our group who are from different worlds, as well. I kind of just consider them part of our entire "solar system of people" and have never used the term "walk-in" (I was probably introduced to it too late).

Thank you for the welcome. As for the term "walk-in", it is but one among many we could use but it feels rather accurate. I do sometimes feel I walked into her body and her life. *grin*

Hi! We have someone who We think is a walk-in of sorts. Welcome and stuff. Not sure what else to say, except Our Wolfdog (that's its name, Wolfdog, or at least the name it gives Us) was seen as an 'angel' at one point, but it denied being anything of the sort. Demon, Angel, different ends of the spectrum, but I thought there was the similarity there. Heh. I might be overthinking though.

I appreciate your welcome. *smile* And yes, I do think "demon" and "angel" are sometimes quite close. A more accurate way of describing myself would be a metaphysical creature of sometimes frightening aspect and self-serving motive...but demon fits, as well, even though I do not perceive any connection between myself or any diety. It is a handy shorthand.

Were your others always present, or did they arrive in the body later - and if so, around what age were you? Just personal curiosity (in our case, I arrived a very short while ago, while my hostess was 20).

both actually. I have had some that have been here from the start, I have MPD so there's more and people still come around now. I've gotten about 10 new ones in the past year. they are from very different worlds and a lot of them are here to do soemthing and then leave. Thats pretty late in the game 20, well i mean to get used to it. I'd assume it be easier at a younger age. I hope you are dealing well. as well as you can. At least I had other before so it was easier. Do you know if you will stay ini her body? or are you just here for a while. Well either way if you need/want friend from far away worlds let me know, i'll introduce you to a couple over here.

To be honest, I'm not sure if I will end up staying in her body. For now, I am enjoying it, though. I would love to talk to others in a similar situation; I have added you to my Messenger list.

Yeah, I think I am rather a latecomer in the body-sharing game. :p It's not been an easy adjustment, but to R's credit he's doing all he can to ease it for the both of us.

It's so cool you seem to be dealing with it so well. thats to be admired. I must admit sometimes even though I've had this for so long... it's still hard to accept

*laughs* D&D alignment...Fenrir, my hostess, is a longtime player and describes me as "Lawful Chaotic Evil Good". She just cannot make up her mind. I told her most beings defy easy categorization, anyway.

All my icons feature the late Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune, one of the few Earth figures both me and Fenrir can agree about admiring.

As for where specificially I am from...it's a vaguely Earthlike world, at least in that it contains humans. As far as I'm aware it does not have a specific name. The main differences are in technology - in my world of origin, we have no computers or such things, but we are able to bend physical law with sorcery (which as far as I'm aware is not very common around these parts). If you wish to know more I'd be amenable to a chat or e-mail conversation, just let me know. *smile*
