we're all people in the back of the collective head. you, too, really, when you're not fronting. lord, but what a racket everyone can kick up sometimes. our soundproofing system is in need of an upgrade. :D
Some days you get a soliloquy, some days a mixed ensemble. Sometimes there are people shouting from the wings, and other folks sitting around backstage entertaining themselves quietly or getting changed for their next appearance.
(And yes, since I'm up front almost all the time, I do wonder what it's like to be someone who isn't. I rather wish I could spend time in our inside-world properly instead of just snatched glimpses here and there.)
i like it, too. we employ the catwalks gratuitously. :) but inside has it's advantages and drawbacks, too, so i try to keep the body open to anyone who wants to come forward, within in reasonable limits.
me too? Not entirely sure about that, since a good number of the people here have bodies of their own elsewhere. I'm still trying to figure that out. Some days i might agree. (today ain't one of em.) ;)
We CO-exist as well..not all of us but a great deal of us. *I* personally have a life and home elsewhere in a world that is not /here/. But then again we're otherkin...
hmmm....I don't know. Sometimes I try to figure that out, so that I have a good idea about how they feel. Though, I'm not sure. I used to be afraid that someone else would take over and I would be forced back. While that fear isn't really there anymore, I still wonder about what it would be like sometimes. I like being the host. I wouldn't ant it any other way. But, I think it's good to think about it. Gives you a new perspective on things.
*grins* Yeah, I do, because my 'brother' takes the helm for a while every day, and occasionally for longer periods. It is fun - he is faster and more graceful in his corporeality than I am, more in tune with his senses; it's all a dance for him. I'm usually not the primary "person in the back of his head", either - his twin co-pilots for him; I'm mostly just a passenger, and thus am free to relax and enjoy the ride.

And it's all improv.
