*** So this is the first time since we got out of the Hospital that we've felt strong enough to attempt going back to work. This is something we WANT to do....but why..are we so scared? WE've had a BAD job history in the past...and I'm horribly scared of screwing things up again. I..don't know how to quite get over this...I guess we'll have to bite the bullet and just do it hu? Anyone else ever have this happen?

Interviews are useful even if you don't get the job because you get more practice interviewing.

Many websites give useful advice on job interviews: http://www.pohly.com/interview.shtml is a good one. A Google search on "job interview skills" turns up many more.

Apply for jobs that you have no chance of getting, just to practice interviewing and feel comfortable doing so.

Remember, it's not just them interviewing you; you're interviewing them, too. Don't accept a job where you don't feel 100% comfortable with the people, situation and environment.

Good luck!
