hi so all of this about guys in girl bodies (the guys say thanks Tahl! and we joined gb_guys) made me want to post here...i don't really know why since i don't come out much. i guess you could say i'm a girl living in a transguy body. i'm amaia, and the headmates i know of are jacob, j, and jake. yeah they're three different people. if you talk to them you'll see. i might've posted here before but i don't remember well. they call us schizoaffective and maybe j is but really i just know how to talk to spirits. or not talk to them yet. i could if the others would let me. but i see them and try to talk to them. anyway that's me. mostly i just wanted to come out and say hello since i'm in a weird place, since the body's female but we're on testosterone and all that. i stay inside a lot because people don't understand me but i thought maybe some of you would here :)

Welcome to the community, Amaia! The females in my group are in a current situation: we are FTM ourselves, although we are pre-hormones. We look androgynous enough to live as male, though.

We aren't terribly androgynous, though I would like it better if we were. Tahl says he likes the body as is though, and Tyb and Saiv (the other main guy and butchy/androgynous girl here) are pretty fond of it. I am outnumbered :(.

the body carries little tokens of each one of us (at least each one we know) around with it--jacob has a hemp necklace and a journal, jake has a trans pride tattoo, j has a tattoo and a rainbow friendship bracelet, and amaia has a pouch full of protective and healing stones. etc. the guys argue over whose hat we're going to wear. it makes everyone feel a little less erased when they're not front since we function as singular most of the time, and sometimes forget we're not. it's almost like being genderqueer for us, only in terms of singular/plural. dunno if that made sense. amaia doesn't get too much physical recognition though but she doesn't really want it i guess. but j gets left out sometimes and we're working on trying to figure that out.

that was a ramble. sorry. damn sharing a body. so frustrating sometimes. but also kind of cool.
