Heh...

I'm making my rounds in the communities that interest me. I'm not really good at all the vocabulary and everything like that, but did a bit of introduction on my personal profile. One of the things that is different for me, is that it seems a lot of er... multiplicities? refer to themselves as a "we". I guess that means that the typist is representing everyone there? That's pretty interesting to be sure.

I refer to myself as "I" because I'm typing for myself. My brother and K are Here, well I mean, where else would they go? Ok, well K goes somewhere occasionally but if my brother leaves he doesn't wander far. From what I know, there were others, have been others and probably will be ... although I seem to be making a nice life for myself Here at the moment... however there are only my brother, K, Jack, Celeste and me Here. I think Angel (should be an accent over the 'a' but I can't figure out how to do it) still comes Here occasionally, but not often. I don't know who all the others were, that's something K would know. Er... anyway...

From my understanding of the vocabulary, I think that four of us are "walk ins", and Jack is a soul-bond Honestly don't think that whoever was actually born here is Here anymore. Its sad, but I think that is the case. I'm not actually the one who has the answers... K would know more than I would. I hope he'll decide to post something, but for the moment its just me. Guess its because I decided to do the research.

If anyone else types it'll probably be K. I hope he does, but he's not decided whether or not he will yet. My brother isn't keen on the whole divulging our secrets thing, even if its on the computer and Jack isn't exactly... computer "saavy". (Heh... its a joke because he says 'saavy' so often.)

See, my girlfriend (LJ: fay_sparrow) and I decided to tell one of our friends about me(us?)(we?) bleh... you all know, I'm sure... anyway it really rocked our friend's world and I felt a bit bad for her, however I thought that she really needed to know. Our friend met Angel originally and although he hinted at something being difference with Here, he didn't give the entire truth. I really just thought it was only fair to her to tell her the whole truth, especially since we have been trying to work on psychic / magical abilities and its easier when the communication levels are open more. Beh, so she was a bit distraught and I felt bad... and until I did the research a few days ago, didn't even realize I/we aren't an isolated case.

Believe me I'm totally relieved to find out there are more soul-bonded/ multiplicity / etc. people out here!

Jack says: "Hello people in the box..." He's still a bit confused about the whole glowing light box = talking to people thing. Fay told him it was all magic, but that doesn't sit completely right with him.

Hello and welcome! Nice to meet you all.

Don't worry about the vocabulary. In the end, we're all people, and that should be all that matters :).

Yeah, all those labels can be really confusing! Especially since the lines between things are so blurry. We mostly ditched them alltogether, because it became too confusing.

First, hello and welcome. Second, this:

From my understanding of the vocabulary, I think that four of us are "walk ins", and Jack is a soul-bond Honestly don't think that whoever was actually born here is Here anymore. Its sad, but I think that is the case.

That is also the case with our system. I am a walk-in also, and am now the main fronter here. We have a few walkins/soulbonds (I don't really differentiate between the two: where they come from doesn't make much difference to the way it works once they're here, and they're treated just the same as everyone else.) Terminology doesn't really matter that much except in the sense of making it easier for other people to understand what you're talking about.

We're not sure who was our original host as a child, we know only who was fronting from 11-17, and then from 17-19, and from 19 onwards.

One curious thing I've noticed: it's entirely the walkins and soulbonds here that front the most.

We told our first-century CE soulbonds that the computer, TV and light sources use a form of controlled lightning. A couple of them (one a blacksmith and sometime inventor) had already more or less guessed that.

Don't worry about the vocabulary... like it says on the userinfo page, it's there to provide words in common, not because other words aren't acceptable.

It's nice to meet you.
I say 'I' mostly as well, though at times 'we' when talking about everyone as a whole. I think it's all a personal preference.
