Does anyone here have headmates that are actually past lives?

I have 2 members of my system that I have known of for almost 10 years.  Here's the thing:  they weren't headmates before, they were past life incarnations (one being a multiple of the other).  Now, they are both separate entities.  Now, considering my religious preferance, its not all that hard for me to believe.  The Kemetic soul consists of two parts:  the ka, and the ba.  The ka is the part of the soul that is equated with the personality.  It is the part that goes to the Duat (the Afterlife, Heaven, Elysium, whatever you wish to call it) while the ba is the eternal part of the soul that gets reincarnated.  The ba is less evident than the ka, but still there.

So, there is Jaenelle and Rayne.  Jaenelle is a ka previously joined with my ba.  Rayne was Jaenelle's multiple (Rayne committed suicide and joined with Jaenelle- don't ask.  Long story.)  Now they are both separate.  Has this happened to anyone else?  I know some of you have gotten Others that have moved in, but these two were a part of me before Shardae and the rest emerged.

Nothing in my skull really originates "outside"; the whole mess in here is some form of other-life/era based. (I'm still figuring out exactly how the quirky pattern works, since it doesn't seem to be a straight line.)

...Alessa's the only reliably "separate voice" of the facets thou (the mess in here's -mostly- a single-sense-of-self weighted median-ish bunch of confusion); I do suspect that part of her separating to the extent that she does has to do with her having done a sort of intentional dissociation during her lifetime.

Everyone but me (the birth person) came from outside of the body, as far as I know. I do not consider any of them a past life of mine, rather, they have had lives of their own in the past and have come into this body with me. Even the one who has been with me the longest (a wolf) cannot be called a past life for certain. We were once very close and tied together, the wolf and I, and later became more seperate, but I'm not sure if this means he was a past life. I suppose I consider everyone spirits who have attached themselves to this body for one reason or another. So, as with you, our existence is a spiritual one (at least for me).

:-o

You have the same theory on past-life multiplicity as I do!

My fiancé is part of a multiple system. Six people, one body. They're all past-lives; they rotate lives. Near as we can tell, they're essentially six kau that share one ba.

My headmate is pretty much the same; he sort of got... delivered to my headspace about a year ago from some afterlife of some sort (possibly the Duat? Part of it? Wouldn't be surprising, since supposedly the Field of Reeds isn't terribly different from this world...); he's a prior ka of my/our ba.

It's fascinating to see someone else with the same outlook!

We have had some people here (notably Andy and Gabe) mistaken for the birth person's past lives, and there have been some people we've never been able to quite convince.

The last time we asked a Kemetic Orthodox person about multiplicity they told us that Queen Hatshepsut wrote something once about having fifteen souls, most of them male.

Well, I don't know if she had 15 souls... I doubt it. She was the bearer of the Kingly Ka, plus her own. The Kingly Ka is a collective soul, so to speak, that passes to each Nisut (King) like a birthright. So, maybe in some aspect, it could be considered 15 souls... though if you want to think about it that way, its probably more.

Anyways, our current Nisut has Her ba, Her ka, and the Kingly Ka. At least, as far as I'm aware. Any of my KO sibs buzzing around her, feel free to correct me if I messed something up.

I should look up that letter. If I find it, I'll come back and quote it here. I'm sure that's what they were referring to.
