Mar. 6th, 2007 07:12 pmI finally finished reading the manga Othello. The main character is a multiple, but I don't want to give too much away... just that it's an awesome series, and I/we think Yaya's "split personality" was done very well, especially at the end. It started out like a traditional trauma-model sterotype - Yaya has no knowledge of Nana, gaps in memory, etc. But, it doesn't stay that way... Also, even though Nana tries to deny it for her own reasons, it's clear to the other characters that they're two completely different people who just happen to share a body.
So, I highly recommend it for anyone who likes manga and/or graphic novels. The ending did seem a little bit rushed, but enough was done well to make up for that.
