For me, our house is as real as anywhere else. It's solid, seems more normal to me than when I try to do things in this world. To Selene it's more sort of dream like, always a little hazy, little details missing, textures don't come across so well. She doesn't live in here usually though, where I do.
I dunno what I like. The peace and quiet maybe. Fact I get to be close to my girl, lot more than I would otherwise get to be, and we don't get interrupted by anything. Nobody coming to get us or whatever. The girls like the company. Apparently it feels pretty cozy. That's from their view now though, would have felt noisy before. Used to it now so it'd probably be weird if it was gone.
(( If I had to seriously think about a benefit, I'd say being able to switch off occasionally. Lu's weak without me, and even I occasionally crash and burn really hard, and in those times it helps if someone else can help keep us up and running. Also, yes, company. I'm glad we have that. I'd never want to live without it. )) ~Selene
