EDIT
I have posted a more detailed system introduction here.

I've been putting off introducing myself for a while now, but I suppose it's about time I should. My name is Lyndsey, and I was the first of many in our system (which is unnamed). I was singular until around ten years old, when Rindy came about, and roughly 40 others have followed suit.

About three years ago the others were doing a splendid job at making my life a living hell, absolutely no functionality, and murderous intent towards me from one of them. So I forced complete control with the help of a lot of concentration and a stint on an "anti-psychotic" and my life straightened right up. For a long time I thought that the only way I could have a good life was by being singular, but a few months ago I realized I was lonely, and felt completely off.

I started paying attention to what was going on in the system again (their lives had continued just fine on the inside) and realized that as I had grown up a lot, so had they, and all of the nonsense and drama was nearly gone. I am still wary of letting anyone else front, but mostly for other reasons. I am in a relationship only four months old, and while he's the first boyfriend to be completely and entirely understanding towards my multiplicity, I don't know if I'm ready for him to meet anyone else. My previous boyfriend and I were together for two years, and I never even hinted to him about it, so this is still a bit odd for me.

I would like to point out that, as I stated in reply to an entry not too long ago, I say "I" instead of "we" (as many of you do) because I spent so long forcing myself to be singular that by the time I was ready to just be multiple, my own sense of self was so concrete that saying "we" would just be strange. The others are mostly the same way... though they will say we sometimes in reference to those who spend most of their time inside. I haven't let anyone else fully front in almost half a year, though, so I guess it depends on the circumstances.

Anyway, here I am, thanks for your time. Feel free to state opinions or ask questions. :]

Think a lot of people say 'I'. No reason to say anything else unless it's what you mean. I talk about me if that's what I mean, us or even them if it's not. Happens.

You were able to concentrate while taking an anti-psychotic? Wow. Which one was it?
