Hi all, just me. The friend we recently came out to has a rather bizarre question he'd like us to ask.
Has anyone ever hypnotised/been hypnotised by one of their headmates?

I don't think it's that bizarre of a question. We use hypnosis both internally and externally, as it's very helpful for pain mangement (we've got a couple pf physical issues going on) and for dealing with emotional stress. No one hypnotizes anyone who doesn't want to be, though.

I use an action similar with the healing work I do within our realm. It involves mind and body healing. Amirah is adept at this and Amalah is learning this as well. Kalem uses a similar technique to reduce trauma and pain during certain procedures. Memory recovery and recall is another excellent use for this. The technique takes place within the individual's mindscape in a prechosen location involving the person and their healer together.

No, we don't do hypnosis. Many of us don't even believe in it but see it as a kind of agreed-upon roleplay between the hypnotizer and the subject. That's why we are cynical about doctors who connect all multiplicity (or at least MPD) to self-hypnosis, or think that "the client has to be hypnotized to have alters come out" and all that.

We don't see this as a bizarre question though.
