We're teaching ourselves to write lefthanded, because I'm actually the only rightie here and it's weird for the others to write with the 'wrong' hand, or so they tell me. The body we presume is at least slightly right-handed because when Ellen and I learned to write that was how we did it. Anyone else found themselves needing to switch handedness?

One of ours turns out to be ambidextrous when I asked around, but everybody else is a righty. As am I.

I conditioned the left hand to be able to write with my dominant hand. But I think the body was somewhat ambidexterous to begin with, so that probably helps. My handwriting is atrocious anyhow.

Get a... like one of those handwriting books they have for kids, where you can trace the letters and their individual parts. That can help you learn what angle you need to hold your hand at when writing with the other hand, and similar stuff.

Some of us are other-handed, but they didn't need to learn how to do it, it's just natural for them.

most of us are right handed, but Liz and Tara are ambidextrous, and one of the twins is leftie.

we never had to learn, it just sort of was.

Sarah and I are both left handed but I think we are the only ones in here who are. We use to write with the bodys left hand and even move the mouse to the left side changing which buttons were used for what. After a few years of being out a lot I adapted to using the right hand just for simplicities sake. Sarah still writes left handed and eats left handed but she is 7 and it is just natural for her and she says she doesnt want to change it.

I don't think we change our dominant hand when we switch fronters.

This body should have been left-handed, but was trained to be right-handed at an early age. Reno started training Dizzy/the body to switch by to left handed some months ago. I consider myself ambidextrous, but lately the body favors its left hand. We haven't tried switching the hand we write with, however.

While that'd work in some cases, here we run by majority rules. Since I'm in the lesser quadrant of lefthanded individuals (in-system) I have to deal with not getting much use out of the left hand, which is the less dominant, slightly weaker, etc...

But it's also on an individual basis too... we'd never try to tell Zee she can't color/write/draw/whatever with whichever hand she wants (ambidexterous kid)...

Just thoughts...

Sophy's left-handed, all the rest of us (inc. the body) are right-handed. Sophy's realised that using her left when out will make her writing all scribbly, but she hates using her right, so she just has to cope with really bad handwriting.

I'm a lefty, and everyone else in here is right-handed. I do just about everything left-handed, except write, because the muscle memory of writing left-handed isn't there, and I can't be bothered to train up the body. I just deal with the scribbly fake-righty handwriting.
