I'm cubbie, the one who started kids_inside, the community for littles and kids in systems.

I'm just reminding people that it's there, and that's mostly for kids, but watching adults are welcome too.

We're also kind of looking for a few nice grownups to help us out by watching over...just to make sure there are no trolls, or such.

we've got a poll up, for people who are interested.

Hi. I just added kids_inside to read but I don't know if I should volunteer to be a moderator or anything, since I am so new. I'm a partner of a system, learning more about it every day, trying hard to be as supportive as I can, and wanting to understand everything.

I know that no one person is a spokesperson for the Community at large, but each perspective is useful.

I will certainly speak up if I see something inappropriate. I'm an elementary school teacher and have been a preschool teacher and have parented young adults with developmental delay so I know a little about what's appropriate for each age.

I just don't want to make a commitment right now, ya know?

Especially since your a teacher...I want to create a website eventually(liz in my system is helping) and also maybe a newsletter to post on the community with links and stuff that's educational for the kids that post there...

my aim for this group wasn't just a safe space, but also a place where "littles" could learn in general, and also learn more about the internet.

I guess I should put that on the profile, huh? *laughs*
