I had a feeling u might think it was a bad idea :P
We have other friends on our course that are completely separate from our housemates that we probably wont ever tell, if we do it wont be for a long time yet. Either way they will support us if we do tell our housemates, although it wont be the same coz they dont know themselves, if that makes sense.
If you wouldn't mind I'd actually really like that... would save a lot of hassle if they do react badly. Thanks
