We finally decided to join the local plural community over here at LJ. I'm sure a few of you know us, and some of you don't so I'll tell you a little bit about ourselves.

We're in a 24 yr old female body, on disability (but hopefully not for too long), volunteer weekly for cultural org's, and will be starting training soon in order to go back to work.

At first this system was convinced it was sick just because it existed, but after a horrible attempt at integration (thanks to a doctor we still wonder about suing for malpractice)we decided to become co-operative. Over the years we have been becoming more and more efficient in all manners of life and will continue to do so.

we're on disability also (we have a brain tumor)... but we're trying to get our home-business up off the ground again, to get off of SSI (not holdng breath though) ;-)

sorry to hear you had a run in with a shadey therapist (i guess that is almost "normal" anymore)... but i'm glad that you all stuck together (it seems) and survived the integration bullshit :-(

Yeah, everyone's got a shady therapist horror story these days it seems. 'rolls eyes' One day I hope it's going to be like the gay community where all these young'uns are looking at us old folks wondering how we all got through these crazy, intolerant times.

I think we've heard from you on an elist before, but I'm not sure. You sound familiar.

I think that integration through cooperation is nearly always a better plan than fusion. It bugs me that fusion is presupposed to be the only solution in so much of the pro literature.
