Hi Every one,

I was trying to behave and hangout with everyone and since I got yelled at for being on the computer to much and, not getting and body sleep I decided to just hang out with everyone and watch TV thinking it might make me sleepy.

I was having a hard time following this Movie that started at 11:30 and was about a Husband and Wife who had 3 kids but the oldest daughter is killed. Tony Danza plays the Father and I cant remember the ladys name but she was a cop and teacher in Knderkarden COP she sthe Mother. Its based down South The girl is around 14 when killed The father is trying to find the murderer and is stressed out bad so I figure hes talking to all these voices cause hes had it, so bad he is panicing and having panic attacks well it s almost the end of the Movie.

The Wife totally was married to him like 20 years and she always thought he was just sensetive and moody. of course it turns out that he was the killer all along when he announces "Tom did not kill his daughter"( real mean and sure of himself )" I did" and of course his name is Thomas. read more He flashes back to His Dad saying "go on kill your Daddy you little basterd" well the daughter calls her Dad a basterd he flases back says "Dont call me that ever" so of course she does it again he see his Father darin, him eggen him on in his flash back and shoots his daughter not once not twice but 12 times. But the Tom personality knows nothing and Thomas thinks he finally killed his father so two of the peoples dont have a clue that they killed there daughter and that when he was a boy he killed his Dad.

its so F**d up and has me so sad and messed up the kids were taken away when tehy suspected he was killer but of coaurese tehy leave it at they'll never have known "there real Dad"The Movie is on Life Time and its called "Deadly Whispers" Because it was on at 11:30 it will be on again when were waking up.All through the Movie it portrayed him as burnt out frazzeled or possibly schizophrenic hearing outside voices. It doesnt even get that right we dont hear outside voices The wife is standing by her man and together they set out to find the real "killer"the Police suspect him after they find the body but she still stands by her man. I hate, hate, hate, what they do with MPD then they have this chessy shrink come on explaining how its MPD/DID why do they always have to portray us as Murderers and Murderers of our own kids? And we woder why the bio daughter will have almost nothing to do with her Mom . Now I cant sleep I cant sleep eevr to begin with and thast why Im in trouble for stealing too much body time and not sleeping but How does a person sleep after that? I had no idea till the last 13 minutes of the Movie that he is MPD of all things I was watching and raely thinking The dad is sodistraught he will find the killer tehy snuck it right in and I never saw it comming or I would a switched it off.
Now I'm bummed out scared more aawke yet exshasted, and jsut like when you see ghost movie ya know ?

Does anyone else feel this way when the murderer who you thought was not and was so caring turns out to be so whacked , evil and then multiple on top of it . it scares me and makes me wonder when I gget angrey if I could be that evil to kil I get afarid to be me, then Iget afraid of any of the Mosaics getting mad I know its a Movie but theres been so many it makes me wonder why they always murder and if I ever wished someone harm if I could do it.

I'm sorry for posting on something people think is nedia dumb stuff but it really effects me all the time and I cant shake it it makes me fear my own skin. And I had no way of knowing he was going to be MPDEvery night is hard to sleep to begin wth some nights its jsut damm well impossible. But I promised I'd sleep so the birthling doesnt braek down with Tiea but after that I am like a 3 year old jsut very afraid Ive seen big movies like Primal Fear and Identity but I knew ahead of time so it was ok. This I had no warning for, Has anyone seen "Deadley whispers" and no the movie I'm talking of thnx for listening I just needed to chat cause I was afarid thax Elaine ( al alone everyone is asleep bt me )

That's the Tom Bonney case, fancied up for television.

This man was not multiple... he was a control freak who terrorized his family, Kathy the oldest daughter was the real mother to the younger kids, and when he found out she was having a love affair he killed her and made a half-ass attempt to pin it on her boyfriend. He would not allow any of her school friends to attend the funeral.

The case received an inordinate amount of publicity after Kathy's body was discovered in the Great Dismal Swamp (I could NOT make this up... there really is such a place). The cheezy shrink was real... he came out of nowhere knowing almost nothing about what had happened, and charged in declaring he just knew Bonney had MPD. It was a really blatant case of trying to get an insanity verdict (which he didn't get, by the way), and the shrink got lots of airtime on the news.

Maybe you shouldn't watch that s--t. Any time you see a multiple on television, they always act either like a psychotic, a mad killer, or both. The only show with an ordinary, everyday multiple was Herman's Head in the early 90s.

The Locklear film was a vile catering to a stereotype based on fraud. You as a multiple should know that film portrayals rarely if ever reflect the reality of multiple experience. Even in the most execrable self-congratulatory-therapist-written books on the subject, how often do they find that the groups they work with include homicidal maniacs?

This all started with that damned Milligan case. Going on that plus Kenneth Bianchi (a fraud who had Colin Ross completely snowed), Ross, Frank Putnam and Richard Kluft decided that "male multiples are more likely to be criminals while female multiples are more likely to present for therapy" -- ignoring the fact that this reflects a cultural norm that has nothing to do with multiplicity. They were also the ones who gave us Fifi the Slut -- of course, they didn't call her that, but said that if you wanted to find female multiples in everyday life, look among sex workers and strippers; for male multiples, look in prisons. Uh huh.

I still want to be Fifi the Slut. I could deal drugs in my bra.

Movies *always* twist everything.

Of course during WW2 The Americans captured the Enigma machine, took the beaches of Normandy & invaded Europe single-handed and never ever engaged in attrocities. William Wallace was a hero (as was the guy Mel Gibson played in The Patriot). Dumbo was base upon a real story & Dr Doolittle really could talk to animals.

I'm trying to think of a movie with a non-psycho multiple.

Sorry - that sounded like it was having a go at you for not knowing that Hollywood sensationalises things. He was ranting at movie makers, not you dear. He just lacks tact most times. Sorry.

When Birth of a Nation first came out, it was quite seriously regarded as an anti-war movie.

Truly terrible silent movie about the *glorious* Ku Klux Klan - here's the Wikipedia article (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Birth_of_a_Nation); the poster-picture really says it all. It's similar to Reefer Madness in its unintentionally-hilarious frenzied fervor and primitive cinematography - especially the horseback scenes, which are enough to make you fall off the couch laughing. Unfortunately, it's also similar in that a whole lot of pin-headed idiots simple-and-easily-led citizens took it seriously.

Ummm... well, do the Trell race (from Star Trek) count? I know, that's not really the same thing, but at least they do live ordinary lives with more than one mind per body.

Tell her to watch Turner Classic Movies. You can't go wrong with William Holden and Greer Garson and Ronald Colman and all that. Marlene Dietrich in Grand Hotel! Rosalind Russell in His Girl Friday! That's the real stuff.

I agree with [livejournal.com profile] ksol1460 - watching that sort of shite isn't going to make you feel good, especially since you seem to be in a rather fragile and vulnerable phase at present. I'd recommend staying away from anything that's got people (especially children) being killed, abused or exploited. Perhaps some comedy and/or romance instead?

"All Of Me" with Lilly Tompkins & Steve Martin is quite good.
